I ran across this again the other day, and thought it would be beneficial to revisit. I know it was for me. It comes from the book "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey

Ive been coming to this site for several years. However, until last month I just started to write my experiences thanks to the encouragement of some others here. I have done several deals, I will start to share them if that is ok.

Back in Sept 2012 a wholesaler friend of mine called me and asked do I know any buyers for a property he has under contract. Now I always have buyers some more serious than others. So I told him yeah. However this buyer I was bringing to the table never closed the deal and the wholesaler contract expired. The seller said “no biggie,” ill just rent it out.

I try to learn something new about real estate everyday. I am reading while putting Deans techniques into practice.

I have been doing this part time, closing a deal every 2 months on average. What i am having a propblem with, When other wholesalers call me or email me with a property how do i go about keeping my buyers to my self? Or is that being selfish?

It took me a long time building a buyers list and don't want them to go with another wholesaler that is producing more properties than me. But would like to help and also increase my profits.

Would like to do this full time but am busy with my Remodeling Co. and that pays my bills and is my comfort zone.

Any and all advice.

Do you have a great suggestion for a phone service? I tried Google Voice, but I may miss callers because they have to wait so long (five rings; then announcement) just to leave a message. If I disable call forwarding the call goes quickly to voicemail, but I can't pick up those calls and talk! Does anyone have a phone arrangement you love? Thank you!

Laughing, I screamed “Man, Oh Snap!" As I braced myself Ernie shifted gears from the steering column. That’s when I heard the rumble under the hood and blower whine on the V8 ZR1 engine really open up. Then once again switching gears from the steering column came 3rd gear.

I swear before man and God I felt like a Nasa Astronaut as my body was losing the fight with inertia falling back into the seat. Anticipating 4th gear and laughing louder I glanced at the white dotted lines on the pavement, were they actually starting to become connected?

Here is an interesting article I found on CNNmoney. It talks about the harp (home affordable refinance program) and how there are not a lot of home owners taking advantage of it. This program was put in place to help homeowners that may be underwater on their loan take advantage of the low interest rates in a refinance of their mortgage. I have been telling freinds and family about this program with a mixed result. From what the article is sayings that is pretty normal for how the public is reacting to this program

It has been a while since I was on here and posted and I think I missed it.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello and let those on here that know me, know that I am still doing real estate. Just picked up a 6 unit in Culver City, CA for $1.1M and just getting into rehab stage on it.

I have alos ogotten married a little over a year ago and my husband and I own an independent record label as well as a Marketing Media and Management Agency.

Life is good and GOD is great and I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and thank all those that have supported me over the years with kind words and encouragement.
