What I would like to talk to you about today is building a buyer's list. Our buyer's list is the foundation of our wholesaling business. If we think of other businesses, our buyer's list is our customer list. If we are to grow and thrive we must have a strong buyer's list.

Understand that there are dozens and dozens of ways to build a buyer's list. The key is finding something that works and then doing it over and over again.

Let's talk about some proven methods that work in many areas. These are things you can do today to get your phone ringing.

I was contacted by "Creative Business Solutions" who claimed they are part of PMI. Has anybody heard of them?

After research with people from PMI, this company that claims to be part of PMI IS NOT. Do not give them any information.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie on real estate. I went to boots on the ground class. I'm starting to build my buyer list and find deals for them.

But, I do have a hard time to find deals. I'm looking on the MLS and every time I put an offer it's not getting accepted, either because my offer is too low or that property has a lot of other offers.

Where I can find good deals? I'm stuck.

Any help will be appreciated.

“Cheap house for sale!” I replied “What was that?” The person on the other end said “This deal won’t last long hurry!” Then I lost their signal. The phone rang again, “Hello” I said. They replied “You buy houses?” (in an out of breath frantic voice). “Yes I buy houses, how did you get my number?” They replied “” google and I saw one of your property flips on you tube.” I said “ahh ok how can I help you?” “Well I have this 3/1 for $35,000 I need to get rid of by tomorrow.”

Had a seller call me off of my bandit signs yesterday.... Put under contract this morning..... Made one call and assigned the contract this afternoon for a $19,500.00 Fee ! Typically I will double close when the fee is this high, but I knew the buyer and he is just looking for deals... so I just assigned him my contract. To think I used to work for a living !

I think it is only fair to tell you all reading this that this is going to be a shameless plug to sway your vote for the Send me away Dean contest.
