I know that many of you feel overwhelmed with all of the information and want to get started making money already! Your doing what your learning, implementing strategies, built your buyers list etc... and nothing seems to be happening yet.

Well, I DONT WANT YOU GIVING UP! Instead I want to help you by breaking things down a bit and making it easier to digest and get your first deal done! Then your second, third etc...

Detroit’s Auctions Begin with a $34,100 Sale
Detroit is beginning to auction off houses, and one open house saw more than 2,000 visitors. All bids start at $1,000. The first sale saw 88 bids and the home sold for $34,100.

Mortgage Rates Hit 2014 Low
Mortgage interest rates hit a 2014 low this week, with 30-year rates down from 4.29% to 4.21%. The 15-year rate hit 3.32%.

Pushing for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Wind Down
A Treasury official cites widespread support for winding down Fannie and Feddie. This is despite the fact that most of the same people see the possibility of anything happening in the Senate as remote.

Is anyone out there? No every answers anything I put out. I've sent out A LOT of messages and put up some post. Come on guys this site can't be dead.

I am wondering how I could call potential tired landlords using this site. I don't see a way to contact anyone via this site. How does everyone else use this site? Joe said we should be on realtor.com everyday!

I have noticed that my "Track" button is no longer on my profile page. Will these be coming back? I hope. These are very useful for keeping up with threads on which we have been posting.

This is something we are all aware of, but sometimes it’s good to be reminded.
There are many reasons to find a realtor, and to have a good realtor on your team. The key word in that sentence is “good”. So many of us go with the 1st realtor that says they will work with us. Don’t. Take your time to research a few realtors. Get a good feel for each of them, then go with the one you think is the best fit. In addition to that, if they are causing grief, or not providing you the information we are needing and requesting in a timely manner, don’t hang onto them. Move on! Remember, if they aren’t helping us, they are hindering us.

How to calculate double closing and holding costs of a property? This is another question Real Estate investors ask quiet frequently. So I’ll try my best to answer them here so others can benefit from the answers.

Holding costs are what the property will cost you while you are trying to get it fixed up and rented or sold on the market. If you are in a soft market, or a time that it’s hard to sell, you might also figure in an amount slightly under value when you sell. This way, you’ll be able to cut down on your hold time and costs.

Investment

Real estate investors who are speaking to others about the business sometimes are helping them to see the value of rental property investing. This is especially true if you’re wholesaling and constantly canvassing for investor buyers. Some are even giving seminars or webinars to interested parties considering real estate investment.
When the subject of risk comes up, some of these would-be investors may be very cautious. They may have significant money in savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and in sedate dividend-paying stocks. If we consider savings accounts and certificates of deposit as something less than “investing,” then we can help these people to make decisions about moving assets from these very low return asset categories into real estate.

Is anyone else not able to watch the daily wisdom videos on the IE site? I have not been able to for the last three days. It says stream not available or something like that. It doesn't seem to be my server or anything, and sometimes some videos work where others do not. The main video is not working the last 3 days for me, but today none of the videos will stream/??. Thanks for your help.

What happened to the live events page? I liked to keep track of the live events.
