Marketing to Buyers and Sellers
Bought our home
December 13th, 2011 | posted by USMC CWO4Hello all. Sorry about being UA (Marine talk for Unauthorized Absence), but during my absence I've bought our new home. We moved in and now, RIGHT NOW, I'm reading Dean's "30 Days to Real Estate Cash". I mean business and am asking you to hold me accountable to visiting and posting on the site daily. This post is a fulfilment of my first homework assignment to read and post on a daily basis and I know that I'll need to learn as much as possible as fast as possible regarding buyer and seller availability. THANK YOU ALL for being here for me and I hope that I can help you all in the future. Now back to "30 Days..."!
The Big Players Use Computers & Software for Rental Pricing
December 8th, 2011 | posted by dgadmin2An article in the New York Times this week discussed the tools used by the largest investors in rental properties in the analysis of rental markets and the determination of the maximum rents they can charge while maintaining occupancy. With rents up and vacancies down, many renters wonder just where that rental dollar amount comes from, and is it just whatever the landlord dreams up.
The country’s biggest landlords together own more than one million rental units. These companies for years have been using a couple of major software tools to set rental rates. Somewhat similar to the software that sets hotel room rates and prices airline tickets, this software uses hundreds of variables to set rental rates, including:
• market conditions
• seasonal trends

Property Managers Enjoying Brisk Business
December 5th, 2011 | posted by dgadmin2With analysts predicting that America will be a nation of renters for some time to come, more homes foreclosing, and first time homebuyers an endangered species, it’s clear that there is a lot of demand for rental homes. A story this week on the Web examined this trend from a Seattle, WA real estate agent’s perspective.
This real estate agent was suffering like many with a tough market for buyers and sellers. She chose to switch her business to property rental management. The decision was a great one for her, as she says “In the past two months, my business probably came close to tripling.” Rentals are soaring in the Seattle area, and this is a trend showing up in many areas of the country.

Any Cash buyers available? Anywhere?
December 2nd, 2011 | posted by joolsI put an ad out about how I need cash buyers and a link for them to go to fill out thier criteria. I just want to know are there any cash buyers out there where I live? I got no response. Am I doing something wrong? Ill wait 3 more days. If still no hits, Ill change the wording. If anyone like to check out the link, here it is. What do you think? Is it good enough? Is it too obvious it make me look like a beginer? Is there something missing? Thanks for your ideas and any help.
