As we met so many pumped-up DG-ers at the event, all I could think about was getting people together in smaller DG groups, locally in coffee shop settings across the country as a means to working to through mindset, hurdles, anxiety, as well as celebrating victories and strategizing the next deal.
There are "club" sites that many have using, there are our respective REI Clubs, but are there many "coffee house" groups?
Anyone?
I'd love to help organize if there is a need to improve local groups.

I'm in Lancaster,PA and would love to get a club started around here,or join one that is already formed. I watched the EDGE Tina and yes,it was awesome,not as good as being there though. Next year i am planning on attending.

i'm sure i wasn't clear when matt talked about not having any sympathy for having to travel. since you have the book you know and i know how he travelled back and forth on the weekends, but i travel 350 miles one way to my buy and hold target area every other weekend so i really don't want to go any further than i have to when i'm home. still, i don't have any rei clubs on the eastern shore and the western shore is like night and day difference.
i'd really like to get a coffee shop group together for the eastern shore of md.

Andrea-- yes! Meet-up will bring outside blood in (buyers! -), that's a good thing, so we'll add that to our outline.
Maria, Jimmy and Rob, got you down. This evening I will be getting someone "on" this task, to keep it simple but get it outlined kinda like a franchise thing then organizers can take over in each area and yeah! all groups can wrap-back to central- what a great Edge 2013 report that will be!

Tina--I'd love to get a coffee house group going in central Texas. I'm in College Station, TX and there aren't any rei clubs here in town--only in Houston, Dallas, Austin. I'd be willing to travel to one of these cities though if it means networking with fellow DG'ers. Thanks for starting this!
