I first got interested in Real Estate back in 2000 when I bought my first home in Las Vegas, NV, until then the only thought I had about it was I should buy a house for a small sense of security. I bought a 3br/2.5ba two story townhome right next to the community pool. I really started though when I had to sell for a job opportunity in NC. I sold house for a $40,000 profit and hired a real estate agent that did absolutly no work except put it on the MLS and deal with the paperwork. I sold the house in three days.
I waited for 5 years before I bought another house. It was a foreclosure and I bought it pretty cheap. This just reinforced my interest in real estate. I attended real estate school and past the course but didn't pass the state exam. I do plan on retaking the course.
I saw Dean on TV but thought it was another scam, I know different now. I know with todays economy now this is the VERY VERY best time to get involved in my opinion. I have been in the construction field for the past 14 years, mostly an electrician, which I think will help me a great deal either in flipping or renting or both.
I also enjoy playing sports, and spending time with my wife.
