I just bought Dean's books BE A REAL ESTATE MILLIONARE and PROFIT FROM REAL ESTATE RIGHT NOW.
Well I didnt get read them yet because they haven't come in the mail. But seriously, would this "blueprint" actually work in Hawaii? Please let me know. I just graduated from high school and dont have enough money to pay for college tution, housing,transportation, and more. Thanks

Question about potential deal

A 5 acre over 9,000 sq ft house has been in and out of the market since February of 2009 ranging in sale price from 2.5 mil (not sure yet if that price was actually true) to the low 900s. The home looks like it's in good condition and in one of the best school district in the state. There's a home next to it for sale for 11 mil.-(not sure if this will play a part in the value of this home). According to the county's tax assessor, this home's FMV is at 1.4 mil. But according to another home value site, it's value is at 1.164 mil. The selling price is a little over 900,000. It sounds to me like a great deal. If so, what kind of profit potential should I be looking at?

What backing money is he refering to?
on page 125:
In the summary to sellers, it says "...I've got buyers with decent credit that could not get funded through traditional channes, but my connections can help get them a loan..."
What connections is he refering to?

August 24th, 2010 | posted by FdirtonHey Guys I am new to Wholesaling Real Estate purchased Profit from Real Estate Right now and still very siked. However anytime that I tell someone what I am doing whether (Real Estate Agent or Broker) they say no one is assigning properties anymore. Or no banks are lending money to investors, or did you have the assignment contract looked over by a Real Estate attorney to make sure it's legit.
This all has gotten me very discouraged. I also feel like I am getting overwhelmed with information. I feel like I don't know what to do first when I find an agent willing to work with me she asks for my proof of funds and bank statements! I am saying to myself I don't have any proof of funds.

July 13th, 2010 | posted by deanprotegeGoodmorning my fellow dgf, I just wanted to let you know that I just finished the great read (Profit From Real Estate Now @ about 7:30 this morning.A whole lot of information I must tell you,and what keeps popping up in my mind is assignment!assingment!assignment!.The picture is becoming more and more clearer as the days go by,but the only thing I need clerification on is the documents, because I find myself getting confused on the documents to present.I keep going back and forth trying to figure out what documents that I need present 2get started.Its telling the name such as the disclosure,assignment contract,purchase agreement,but they all are looking the same.I seeing that it is between 3&4 documents.
