new to this, need advice

I am reading Dean's book "30 days to real estate cash." I am at the part in the book where i'm supposed to call a bunch of real estate agents and determine which ones are a good match to work with me. The thought of having to call them is making me very nervous and even a bit scared. I'm terrified and I don't know why. I am afraid that they will ask me questions that are not in the script and I won't know what to say or how to answer their questions. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do to get over this irrational fear? Please any help or advice would be welcome.

I ran into a couple at the local mall and they were from the DG website. They asked me how real estate was going and they were getting a little discouraged. I asked why and they stated that they were all excited when they started but over time they lost their drive and went back to their daily jobs. I asked what were the things they were doing and found out that they were not doing enough. They were not building a buyer's list, not looking enough at properties and not making enough offers. They already had the education in real estate, they just needed to apply what they learned and take action.

I can say everyday I put time into my REI biz, direct mail, driving for $, locators, mls , making offers, throwing biz cards out the window.
Look im not the most successful person on this site but I keep working it and I WILL add to what I already have.

REAL ESTATE AGENT RELATIONSHIPS - ETHICS

Hi all, just started reading 30 Days to Cash and the agencies that are recommended are Remax and Keller Williams. Well, I don't know if this is good or bad, but I happen to work freelance for a custom home builder who is a Keller Williams RE agent along with his wife, who is a top RE agent with KW who I hear did over $10MM last year. I see this as either a really good thing, or a really bad thing, but hearing how to approach them with my new RE business could potentially be touchy? Gosh, don't know how to start that conversation. Wondering if there is a conflict of interest, or if they will see this as a great partnership opportunity. Thanks for your insight!!

True story!
So I am taking dean's advice and started calling for rent ads in the paper looking for an potential buyer. I was so nervous that when I called and he answered I froze up and started to ask about the room that he was renting out, never getting to the real reason why I was calling. So after that epic fail I was wondering when I call out to someone how do I explain to them what I do as an wholesaler?

Living with cancer

I am facing cancer in my life. My wife has stage 4 metastatic cancer. The state we live in does not have much to offer in the area of cancer research or treatment.
I have a cousin in MI has was also diagnosed with the same thing except it had ravaged through most of her internal organs. Today she is one year cancer free and it is due to the new form of treatment available.

How much notice do I need to receive before a viewing at Norquay rentals? Do we need to give permission or be there etc, is it just a formality?
