OfflineI have a website that I use regularly to follow my markets. Also any time I do research into any new market I make sure to see how the housing prices are changing.
I use the website: www.FHFA.gov to do some of my market research. You can search by state, by county and see how each market is doing with Home prices.
The trends I'm seeing now is most markets are going up. There are few markets that have negative prices, but most markets are in the up.

A great way to find banks that are failing which can be a potential source to pick up properties. Go the the FDIC website. They have a section that covers all failing banks, and also who is purchasing all assets of that bank. It is just another method that can lead to potential properties.
I haven't used this source and haven't tried working with a failing bank, has anyone out there had any success working with one? Have you closed any deals?
