Does admin have an answer for me? Are points good for anything?

They used to give you a discount when purchasing the Edge event if you had a certain number of points; other than that, I think they're just there to make you feel good as you accumulate them and earn more 'charms' under your name

Thank you for your answer. I wish admin would answer, too. I would like to use them for another product like one of the website programs that will give me access to buyers. I have a whole stack of sellers, some distressed and some not, right here in front of me. I have found that finding distressed sellers is easier than finding investor buyers thus far.

I forget, did you say that you do or do not have an REI Club in the Amarillo area?? My Buyer's are all associates from one of the local Houston groups....and active Buyers too!

Yes, we have an active REI club in Amarillo the last time I checked, but we're on the opposite end of the state from Houston. We're in the Texas Panhandle - the part that sticks up on top. Draw a line from Oklahoma City to Albuquerque, and we're in the middle. Or, if you draw a diagonal line from Dallas to Denver, we're in the middle.

I sure need active buyers. I have sellers coming out of my ears!

The point in my previous post was suggesting that you might find Buyer's through your local REI club, *IF* one exists in the Amarillo area. And since you indicated that you have not checked in a while....

I was wondering the same thing! What do points get you?

Haven't ever heard that they were good for anything else. They move you up in the ranking of posters as top users of this site. Otherwise, I haven't a clue!

Back in either 2010 or 2011, Dean gave a discount on your cost for the EDGE event if you had a certain number of "points". Sorry I do not remember the necessary number of points to receive a discount, and I did not attend the EDGE event that year as I had already attended EDGE 2009. I do NOT believe he is still doing this, but one never knows what the future holds.

It seems we can't get an answer to this. Perhaps no one knows it. It would be nice to have a little something for participation. I've gone over 800 now, and I enjoy helping, including with professional advice, but I'm going to need a product soon, and a discount would be nice, too.
