well folks I got a deal from an agent i know who had a short sale falling out of escrow but the buyer would have to move fast n no assigning contract, so, I just called one of my fast buyers & bird dogged it to him for 5k.
Wont get paid until hopefully it closes(seller has not signed agreement yet:) would close 12/10 i believe.
wanted folks to know I have been taking action I did just lose out on 3 deals where I could have made 35k n it was my fault for not moving quickly enough n asking for disclosures n then filling out the purchase agreements(i was dealing with fear of filling them out properly)
so see you are not the only one who has fear sometimes, even I do. it hurt for a few days but i am getting better at bouncing back now I made 8 offers yesterday on the MLS, have had 25 signs put out for sellers for bandit signs(no calls tough, but had another 20 put out in oceanside last night, no calls yet either yet geeze.
well, I am pushing further no matter what discouraging but it was my fault (cant' believe i did that) but I am going to start truly listening to Tony Robbins n dean every day I have to get rid of things in my thinking I know, I know I have limiting beliefs & bad stuff deep down in me & I have to get rid of them so I can rock n roll n change my life.
anyways sorry for the long post just wanted all of you to know that I am here in San Diego & I will not be stopped from my dream of being a succesful RE investor & off of disability. I just branded myself also btw with Tony Buys Homes. What do you think? be encouraged all.

Its true fear can be a roadblock but that's something we can control by taking action and learning from our mistakes, the more we do it the easier it will come..

I understand your frustration, Tony, with losing those 3 deals. I've started and quit a couple of times too, feeling lost. And similar to your situation, I have 128 fresh signs out there right now, and getting no where near the call volume I expected. The last time I tried this, 3 years ago, I got a ton of calls, and didn't make even one offer because I was too afraid for not knowing what I was doing. Now I have a mentor/partner, and knowing the terrain now, I know what to do next.
A seasoned investor recently warned me that this is the slow season with holidays and all. I didn't want to hear that and argued that business never stops. Either my signs suck, or her warning is concrete. I know that we're both right, which means I gotta work harder & smarter for business during this time, so I'm moving forward with getting out the remainder of my 200 signs before the end of the month, keeping faith that it's gonna pay off. I'll be employing some other lead generating tactics as well. Like a soldier in battle, we gotta stay focused & fearless, with no time for wallowing in our regrets. Find the solutions and keep moving. Great to read about you shaking off those mistakes, and moving on to making your efforts pay off.
