OfflineI felt like posting an updated version of getting started with REI that I get from new investors all the time. I get questions quite often of how do I get started, etc. At the bottom are just common questions that I get from new investors like yourself to start making money fast. These are just starting points to help you better;
Q1. Where Can I find an answer to my questions on the DG site? Go to the word on your left hand side under the word "My Inbox" click on the word "Contribute" & do a search for the answers your looking for, it's that simple. Also, on the Contribute section click on the "Forum Topic" that's where you can start your own post. You will find all the answers you need here at the DG site if you only search for it instead of posting the same questions over & over.
Q2. Yes, assignments or bird dogging is the best way to start your investing, with or without an agent. Use all the tools that Dean gave out during the month of Success Fest, which it was allot of valuable info to get you making money now.
Q3. Do I need a partner to get started? That all depends if your a go-getter & you can do this w/o a partner. Nothing wrong about having one because some investors on the DG site have been doing well in partnership but I wouldn't focus on that if you can get started on your own.
Q4. Do I need to get a LLC - It's important if you have the money to get one now, but if you don't have assets to protect don't focus on getting one right now, so don't get catch up in the fact that you need one to start investing, especially if your only doing assignments & bird dogging you don't need a LLC.
Let me just add also regarding your profile. If you want other investors to take you serious you need to add more content in your profile. Write something about yourself but you also want to mention what type of deals your looking to do, or what your currently doing. Another thing that's extremely important is having a picture of yourself on your profile, investors want to know who they are communicating with by matching the face with the name & city/state you live in, I hope this helps you.
