quizing new investors

Going to real estate investors meet-up. Any questions I should ask investors to find if they are serious investors if so what kind of property they need, where they are at in there portfolio> Answer to this would be great. Thanks Winston

Introduction, then ask questions...

Remember to intro yourself, and then ask questions. Think of it as speed dating, in a sense. And, remember, let them talk 90% of the time and you 10% ~ Listen to them 100%, and try to get the "Who, What, When, Where, Why, and Hows":

* What's your name?
* What is your Phone number?
* Do you have a cell phone? What is that number?
* You Email address?
* Fax Number?
* The best way to contact you is ?
* What do you prefer to buy?
* Where area do you like to buy in? Zip codes?
* What property types are your favorites?
* What would you consider as a good deal?
* Is there a favorite house you just bought? What was the outcome?
* What type of financing do you use or have?
* How quickly can you close on a property?
* When I have a property, may I offer it you?

Tell them Thank you, and that you will contact them soon. And, follow up with them, too.

New investors

a few more...

how many deals have you done?

how many can you handle a month?

do you have any partners?

are you open to working with other investors?

invest local and out of town or state?

what are your price limits?

tell me about your last deal...or best deal
