I just got my website up this month. You have to go to each individual search engine provider and register you website with them. I have only done google so far.
There are ways to do this once for all the search engines as well maybe someone else know?
Let me know what you think...

Thanks for the info its greatly appreciated...but I have one more question can you give me feed back on the content on my website
I will never accept defeat there for I will never fail
Okay, I am going to be honest here... your website it boring. There is no call to action! No reason for the seller or buyer to say, "I want to hook up with this company!" What is the purpose of your website? Is it for informational purpose or do you plan on listing properties there and using that as your medium to communicate with the real estate world? Are you going to be using your website to make a buyer's list? Answer these questions for me and I will tell you how to fix it and how to get traffic to your site.

I would not focus so much on websites in the beginning of you Real Estate Investing, but rather focus on putting deals together. Network with people such as your local real estate club. Create business cards and work with FSBO.
Attend auctions and listen and observe and build your buyers list.
"If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”
Napoleon Hill quote
I suggest you offer the site visitor something for free if they fill out their name, email address, and whatever information you need to market to them in the future. Don't make them work hard and reward them with a special report (or something) that you can email to them, or that they can download immediately after putting in the information.
People love free. And if you are offering a special report on how to purchase properties for $10,000 lower than list price (you would sell it to them because they are on your buyers list) how can they refuse?

I checked it out. And I agree it needs some pizaz! How about a 1 minute video telling people who you are and what you do? It also helps them have an instant relationship with you instead of just reading information. I would also move your contact us information on your front page.
I checked out your metadata. (the key words you use) Can you add more? If there is no limit I suggest you really fill it up. Also sign up to be on google maps. It's free and you only need a free gmail account.
Hope this helps.

Elias, I agree with Jason concerning the website. It is important to establish a team and begin looking for deals, the website could come later. Now that the market is on house overload, you want to get as much as you can before "the tables turn." I have a strong belief that after December 2009, the housing market will begin to go up again. We all have to get a few properties under our belt now. God Bless.

I will also use my site to communicate with other in the relm of real estate
Yes I want to list my properties I have under contract on my site

I am going to have to disagree with you on the market. I just received word from an asset manager at Freddie Mac that what we saw in 2009 is nothing compared to the next two years at the very least. The banks are overloaded with houses. The moratorium lifts in September and a flood of inventory will hit the market in October. The bank's strategies are to flood the market a few times throughout the year instead of all at once. They're afraid that if they let go of all their inventory at once it will cause the housing prices to drop further. So, they're plan is to release properties every so often and maintain prices. Right now prices are going up a little because there is no inventory due to the moratorium.
Elias, use your website for information, but you really need to be using squeeze pages to capture your leads for buyers and sellers. I disagree with everyone about being on the web. Everything is being done via web and social media. If you're not capturing that part of the market than you are selling yourself short. Look at DG. He uses his books, tv, etc. to drive his clients to this awesome site. This site is where the money making is taking place. Dean provides a great forum, full of information, so we all continue to come back here. The Edge conference sold out because he has his marketing list from this website! You didn't see The Edge advertised on tv. Elias, continue to put in offers, build your buyer's list by directing people to your squeeze page. Offer them something for FREE if they join your VIP BUYER'S LIST. For sellers it could be about Stopping Foreclosures, for Buyers it could be about how to buy and sell real estate with no money down. Send everyone who is on your list a weekly or monthly newsletter to keep your company in front of them. Anita gave me great advice that you sign everything with your website underneath your name. Think about all the other gurus that send you newsletters. They have their website underneath their name. The super savvy ones have their facebook and twitter information too. Just through Facebook I average at least 10 new investors a week without even advertising for them. You need to be doing the same. If you need more help PM. Good luck...

I really appreciate the advice I'm working on the changes now... but what do you mean by squeeze pages?
I will never accept defeat there for I will never fail
WHAT IS A SQUEEZE PAGE ?
I'M JUST GUESSING, BUT I BET SHE'S GONNA SAY IT'S WHERE YOU ASK THEM FOR THERE NAME, ADDRESS & EMAIL, ETC TO SEND THE FREE REPORT ON WHATEVER TOPIC.
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY INVESTING
Your absolutely right WALT, that is exactly what a squeeze page is. It's a quick one page site that has a call to action and asks for you to put your name and email address. Your call to action could be "Get access to the HOTTEST Real Esate deals in Anytown USA before they ever hit the market!" Then you have a couple sentences about how savvy investors know that deals are bought way before they ever hit the mareket, don't delay, blah, blah! Offer your free report and access to your VIP Buyer's List if they fill in their name and email address. Make sure you add a nice picture or you could do a quick 30 second video. Hope this helps...

I like the acronym K-I-S-S, where you keep things simple and relating this to business cards it seems overwhelming. I've seen all kinds of business cards so i was wondering about the basics. Do they need to be really simple, or pictured backgrounds, or matte finish? I was kinda thinking about a really basic business card with basic info and maybe a simple one-ink graphic. What do you think?
Never Give Up, Never Surrender!
that are magnetic are the best!
i sold them for a while. if you have any questions pm me. i can suggest a company to work with. i highly recommend them. great quality low prices. i know it sounds like a commercial but i used to buy from them and i really do like the company. you can also get magnets with calendars on them so they stick it on the refrigerator and it "hangs around" awhile. pun intended.
This forum was to help me and other a like structure their website.
But I think you should keep them very simple
Name
Email
Number
Website
And you specialize in buy, seller, etc...
Try to get them laminated with a nice color nother dart or to bright and a small design
Dull card don't catch my eye and one with to much writing takes away from the card
Use the card to direct them to your website(if need idea to make a great website return to this forum) or your 24hr voivr recorder

I know I am coming in at the end, but let me ask you a question. Why are you looking to start by people coming to you, go out there and get them. My partner and I didn't put up a web site and sit back and wait for things to happen. We hit the streets, went to craigslist and found our deals. When we closed a deal a month ago, after the signing we went out and drove about 170 miles looking for deals and doing walk thru's. This message isn't meant to be harsh, it is meant to get you up and going. If REI was a real easy gig, there would be thousands of people making the big millions every year. So pick yourself up and go get a deal, don't wait for it to come to you......Jan
I have been out there looking for deals but its not as easy as it sounds with out the screening that's why I need my website set up.... It feels like I talked to 100 home owners giveing them advice and helping and I'm wasting time dealing with home owners that don't want to be help or have no intention of selling their house...(you will be surpised at how many people will say I rather the bank tak my house before I sell it for that amount...smh... so hopefully my wesite will do that for me
I will never accept defeat there for I will never fail
You have to have a motivated sellerYou have to build a repore with the home owner.Explain to them it a win win deal for both of you and above all when you mak a offer do it in writing never verble.
Bill
I have to agree with my partner Jan. You need to get out there and make it happen, trust me I know it is not easy, but you can't just sit back and wait for deals to come to you. If you doon't find anything you look, and look harder, and search and search and search until you find what you are looking for. That is how you will find success, you need to do the work, and if you are, then you need to work harder, there is always more you can do, don't stop what you are doing.

Hi Elias,
Check out freerealestatearticle.com
In my opinion, information is better received if it's in list format in the way that Dean's free websites show the info. For example, the info on your homepage might look better if it were listed like this:
WE CAN HELP, IF YOU:
* Need to sell
* Were denied a homeowners loan
* Want to prevent or stop foreclosure
* Were turned down for a homeowners loan
WE SPECIALIZE IN A NUMBER OF THINGS:
* mortgage modifications
* finding ways to finance your new home
* market analysis
* selling property
* We also buy property
I'm not marketing my site, but a good example of the list format is on my free site. take a look http://www.jclrei.usapropertywholesale.com/
thanks for the help but i dont think im going to be using the site freerealestatearticle.com wouldnt be a good idea because at the end of each article has a link leading to where the arctile cane from.
