OfflineI saw a video on youtube about POST IT NOTE marketing. this guy was leaving them on gas pumps, all the gas pumps at the station not just the one he was using. so i thought heck buy yellow post it notes and write ?? buys houses etc.... and stick them to things, The mirror in the public restroom, The gas pumps, every where. the worst is people will just wad them up and throw them away no harm done... lots of public places hey it gets you noticed and its cheap you dont have to order them and pay shipping etc... there already for sale right in your town. i checked a price of 24.00 for 1200 lil notes. that comes to 2 cents a piece pretty cheap.

you finally get to reply on my post after all these years it's about time I created a post.....
Thats a creative inexpensive way to get noticed. I thought if you were trying to go all out with these post-its then your hand may get tired after a while so Im thinking maybe using printed mailing labels and placing those clearly printed labels onto the post-its. Its an additional expense but makes your message clear and saves time.
and hand write it so thats what i would do... a convenience store usually has maybe 5 - 10 fuel islands so i would just sit there and write them out....
i love the idea because you can start real cheap and grow...

love the idea, heres an add on... can u get one of those stamps like things that use those ink pads, but it made in a hand written font, and all ull have to do is dip it in ink, and stamp all the yellow pads down in a hand written style... i;ll look into it and let u guys know what i find.
I have a friend here in ca that is doing just that on red boxes as well as gas pumps. They are getting him deals so you should look at it because the cost is low and the traffic is high..

I think this would work like our bandit signs, hand written signs get better feedback.
I haven't tried it yet but I will.

Post-its are a cheap way to get your name out there for sure. When we door knock pre foreclosed home owners and no one answers we leave a post-it (yellow) on the door. We also leave a door hanger.
We also leave and hand out our business cards everywhere! The ones that say $500 referral fee paid if we close on a lead that you provide. Every cashier, server, neighbor, everyone gets one!
Don't forget bandit signs, REI clubs and internet marketing. Internet MARKETING, not surfing!!
