OfflineI was wondering if there were any REI's out there in the Tacoma Washington area that would like to get together for coffee? I would not mind doing a partnership or even just sitting down and brain storming on how to make money.

I am in the Sea-Tac area and I just discovered another new addition to the DG family in Edmunds.
I will be at the REAPS meeting this Thursday at the Bellevue Sheraton at 6:00pm. I hope I will meet other Dean students working this area. I am definitely open to meeting sometime. This week I am way too packed with school and the meeting plus other stuff to do. I would love to arrange a meeting with other DGers in the Puget Sound area. I have been looking in the forums for those around here but have had little luck as those posts are inactive and no-one is replying to the new comments I made in there.
I will stay in touch and look forward to meeting you.

I would love to join you at this meeting, but Bellevue is quite a drive for me especially at 6:00 in the evening. You and I both know how the traffic works around here.
Let me know what your schedule is and the round about city where you live and maybe we could meet half way so it is not as far for both of us???

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I have been so busy lately, but I suppose that's good. At least it feels like real progress. Anyway now it's after the fact for the regular REAPS meeting which by the way was awesome. Made some good contacts there.
There is a one day workshop on Saturday Feb. 5th taught by Tony Youngs the speaker from Thursdays meeting. I am going and I believe you can still register for it if you can make it. It's $39. for members and $59. for guests/non members. He teaches techniques for buying foreclosures/distressed properties, etc.. I recommend it and there are other upcoming meetings which are great networking opportunities. If you haven't been to one you need to do it. There must have been over 200 people at the last one.

I definitely know what you mean about the traffic. I was surprised that traffic wasn't bad Thursday night. Most of it's going the other way(South) though. I believe there's another club that is based in or around Tacoma. Just search for "real estate clubs"+Tacoma or something similar.
I plan to attend other clubs meetings soon too but REAPS is the biggest with the biggest turnouts. OK enough with the sells pitch. I just wanted you to know it's way worthwhile, and the drive.
My schedule is probably more flexible than yours right now as you have the day job. I do but no hours right now. So if you want to make our own meetings let me know what works for you. Feel free to PM me any details. I should probably use that more.
