Im the newest member to drink the koolaid and loving every minute of it!!! Not only do i love the cuttting edge of all the material that is offered, but also how close knit everyone is on the DG site. It seems that everyone has each others backs on the success of this program!!! Its great to see that there is no hesitation in helping one another with each others knowledge and know how on any given topic.
I have only had the program for only about a month and as every newbie that signs on at first, can easily get overwhelmed by the information alone. Not to mention, reading all helpful posts that each member goes through on this site.
So, my question is, has anyone put together a DG member list from each state? It seems to me that if everyone is so supportive of one another on this site, how much more effective would it be if we helped one another in each state we lived in??? Whether it be partnering up with one another,creating a DG Club in your area, giving helpful advice on that specific demographic or just simple guidance to all the newbies in your area.
I would love to know who is in my area, which is Charleston, WV because I think getting together to brainstorm ideas, build partnerships/teamwork, or just support one another in this small town would be priceless!!!
If anyone is interested in sharing this same desire of teamwork, please let me know!!!Also, since i live in a small town, I would like to expand my investing in the surrounding areas of my state which would be charlotte,nc; pittsburg,pa and any city in the virgina area. So if anyone in those areas would like to work together some how, please let me know as well!!

I think the idea is truly inspired! I've actually just logged in after signing up 4ever ago to try and find someone from my state.
I see no-one has replied via this thread but has there been any development to your query? I REALLY hope so - with all the information, I would even know where to start.

SLOW DOWN and pay attention
I belong to other forums where you have to enter your state/location when you sign up. Once you're inside you have the option to search members by location.
So, you enter your info once and then anybody can find members close to their area. No need for multiple threads and wasting time compiling lists.
BTW, any decent webmaster would have this type of site up and running in under two months, with the majority of bugs worked out. This is ridiculous. I probably could do this myself but it's not my area of expertise. (and my name isn't dg either lol)

I agree that demographic groups would be useful for partnering up! Most of the same strategies work in every state though, so any information you find on this site is most likely valid in your state.

I'll tell you where to start in black and white:
1. Get over your fear. By not doing it, you are just telling yourself no.
2. Build your buyers list. Essential for wholesaling.
3. Build your power team. Essential for any real estate investing.
4. CREATE killer deals by putting offers out there. Don't find good deals, create them!
5. Get paid! This is the best part!

I have been trying to find poeple close to me that I can connect with in my area Massachusetts. It is a great idea if we could have a DG group meeting in person to network and discuss strategies and deals. I have been sending PM to people that are on the REI Group agrea on DG.com but no one has responded.

I agree with you Virgil I have posted a ghost ad on CL and got 7 buyers on my list. Now i just have to find the sellers and great deals. Oh and the most important part get over the feal of doing the wholesale!
