Also keep moving forward as you will hit road blocks but it's all about the journey getting there. The only difference between successful people & your average joe, is they never quit, no matter what. It's proven time & time again.
Study successful people & place yourself around them.

Welcome and what Jason says is too true. Read the forums and you'll find answers to most any question you may have. Be persistant! It's not easy and it takes time but you can do it! Keep us updated in your journal!

hello, I'm a new investor too. About 3/4 way through Dean's book. I'm like you, need to do several assignment deals to build up cash reserves as unemployment has drained everything. I've been to real estate school about 15 years ago, they just taught you some re law and how to pass state boards.
Dean REALLY teaches you about real estate.

By the way I'm from Tallahatchie County Mississippi, if there are any investors in the area shoot me an e-mail, I would love to buddy up..... need all the help I can get.

I've been reading Dean's book, "Profit from Real Estate rigth now" now. I bought several programs to in last two years. Educating myself in real estate but Dean's program is the best so far. I know this will going to work for me and for you too. Just stay focus on your goal. Good luck to you.

Nice to have you here, welcome. Be carfeful listenign to others as Dean says in his books. Also trust your gut, I know from owning other businesses, if I listen to everybody I would not have grown. Just carefully, choose whose advice you seek and listen to. Good of example of this is my Mom. I love her dearly, and she means well, but she thinks I should go get a "real job" and then pursue this new career.

Compare the costs between an accountant and LegalZoom. Ask the accountant how many small business owners they have as clients and how many real estate investors are clients. Sometimes they want you to set your business up how they want to, not how you want to.

You may want to consider joining a local real estate investment club to network with other investors. This is a great way to learn, build a buyer’s list and maybe even find a partner for a few deals.
