Closing with title company?

Closing with title company?

Hey everyone, it's bothering me so I just want share with DG family. I have one deal about to close! title company already give me the date and time, but on the day of the event, she said it's not going to happen because the instruction wasn't in it with package when bank sent to her. and it's was last minute notice for me. my question is it's happen often when title company delayed, because I was super happy when the bank finally said yes it's all done let's close, but my title company wasn't. anyway I just like to share with you all and hopefully choice team member. thanks

Title Company

Only way title co. would delay as if there's a lean on the title,or they haven't pull title yet, which they would have told you if something was on title. My title company has never delayed any closings.

Many Blessings!

New Alliances

Yesterday, met with a Realtor who has his own realty!! He shared with me his own method of analysis for locating "ugly houses". After establishing your criteria: type of house, zip code, price, etc. Next, you look at pictures, check for update such as new windows, condition of lawn, parked cars (on street?) or in driveway. Second, do Satellite view to get up close view of backyard and neighborhood in general- is it near schools, major highway, amenities like gas station, grocery store, restaurants, businesses (what kind?). This realtor knows his Stuff! It's great to know that in addition to Keller Williams & REMAX, we can also find more realtors who want to work with us! So... Get Seeking fellow DGers, so you Can Find the right associates. Continued Success!!!!

Closing with title company

It sounds to me like the bank did not submit all of their paperwork. Not really the title company's fault. If the bank selling it submitted most of the paperwork but some of it got lost in the shuffle of too much going on or someone slacking, then you'll have to wait on the bank. I don't think it's the first time a closing will be delayed. Usually the title companies do everything they can to close on time.

I would be calling everyday for updates, even more than once a day, to try to put pressure on the selling party. You are under contract, after all. It's their fault if they are not prepared. Sounds like the instructions of who gets what money and how it's distributed that got left out, all the parties that are involved in the transaction.
