OfflineWell it is Jan 4, 2013 and I am just getting started. I learned about Dean and this amazing site in mid Dec and have been thinking about it ever since.
I love that we can help each other be accountable here and that there is a community of like-minded people we can connect to.
What have I done so far?
* complied a list of agents to contact
* contacted one already but have seen nothing from her yet
* created my new REI email account
My plan for today?
* look into Dean's insider site (feeling overwhelmed with all the info here so not sure I am ready for more just yet but I will check it out for sure)
* call more of the agents on my list to find some good ones to work with
* spend some time in learning as well (but need to be careful not to get stuck in this mode as it is the easiest thing for me to do 
So I will keep you posted on how I mkae out with all this!

There is a lot of information to absorb. You will read some things over and over, but it will just sink in that much more and the pieces to the puzzle will come together. Best Wishes! Read the post as much as possible and the books! Tammy

Just started too Melanie, The amazing inspiration you can get from this site is nothing short of miraculous. Never have i seen such a close knit community of people as i have found here. This truly is a family and i am happy to welcome you. Now i amy not be much help just yet in RE wisdom but i will be more than happy to help keep you from feeling overwhelmed. Remeber there are no dumb questions just questions that need answering otherwise we would not ask them and the family here will always have an answer if not thru a post send a PM to some of the longer standing members they are happy to help. Use all the tools that are available here i have yet to find one that i didnt want in my tool box.

Welcome! I'm a newbie myself, but you will love being part of the DG family. There is always someone to answer your questions & always someone to throw you a support system. It's like Dean said about creating your own luck...it's so true. Doors start opening when you knock long enough. It's alot of hard work, but it's so much fun too. Wow I have learned so much in 6 days. Yesterday I met with a real estate agent and he told me about alot of activity heading for my community and this opened up a whole new town for makreting that I had not thought of before. YAY!
Today I put up some bright yellow flyers and even dropped on at a house with a FSBO sign. Now onto business cards, bandit signs and Craig's list.
This has been such a fun and rewarding journey already. I am blessed that God has brought me to Dean and this wonderful family with all this education!
Got a life coaching appt in 45 min and ready to run full out!!
