My first step was I joined this site, downloaded the free book, and start reading under start here - FAQ. Then a few days later I cam back and start watching Dean video blogs from the beginning. I watched one through ninety-one before calling it a night. In watching the video blogs I signed up for the set for life site tool, and watched the videos. Yesterday, I came back to watch more video blogs, however I found I could only watch the top video on pages 19, 18, and 17. My mom and I and a mutual friend started reading through 30 Days to Real Estate Cash on Tuesday, October 16th. The goal is for each of us to do a deal in 30 to 60 or less. The blueprint that we have been given by Dean makes it more than attainable. We are also reading Profit from Real Estate Now. I have got through the first chapter. Now, I need to write down my WHY and my goals.

Sounds like you on the right track and have the right mindset. Just give it all you got and dont listen to the ney sayers and keep a positive mindset. As long as you follow dean's reciped in the 30 days to quick cash book you would be successful.

Hi everyone, i am very new at this, bought dean's book (30days to real estate), like it a lot, but need to be guided a bit, i'm at the point that i need to find some buyers. think that the city hall is a good idea, but other than having the buyer address on hand, how do i get buyers name? Should i show up to the city hall, and strait up ask them for list of houses that were paid cash. how should i proceed, cause i already have realtors sending me house listing but they won't help for buyers list. thank's for helping!
I'm really new at this also, however, reading throught the posts lots of good tips have been giving for creating a buyers list. You find the tips you are looking for in the RE forums. Mark K and freeindeed have great posts with tips.

Well, we are working on finishing the second part of phase # 1 (Days 1-5). It is a little challenging because I am also finishing my bachelor degree on-line. I have to complete the final assignment for one class and do discussion qustions for a new one. It is all about finding balance and prioritizing. Monday, I'll start calling relator offices, looking for a relator that works with investors in the area I want to work.

Well, because I was focused on school work yesterday, I did not take any steps toward my investing. However, today I made calls to five realestate offices. I was given four names, and actually talked to one agent and got his email, and I even sent him an email requesting properties. Waiting for callbacks from left messages, and I am looking for more offices to call to an agent for my team. I really feel I am tackling hurdles.

I received two callbacks yesterday out of the three msgs I left at agents offices. No later than Friday, I will be going through prospective properties in my area, which is Metro Atlanta. Posting a ghost ad on craigslist is the order of business for today. I want to thank Those who have posted words of encouragement it means so much to know there is support here.
