It seems like we hear the same thing every year. Still, the end of the world will likely come before a Cubs championship though.
Just kidding by the way, I've been a Cardinals fan since birth...

One has to ask " If they were so smart, why did their civilization collapse?" The current theory is because they used up all of their environment. They didn't predict that! Does that sound so smart or what the world is doing today?
The good news is that we got Chocolate from them. Yummeeeee

all civilizations have risen and fallen under poor management of resources, people, etc. Greece, Roman, Spanish and the English have all seen their empires fall. In fact, England was instrumental of the fall of Spain as we(America) were instrumental in the fall of England. With that said, America may find itself at the end of their run because of the current financial debacle. China has the money, the people and the drive; what they do not have is the resources or the ingenuity yet. But that made reverse itself in the next couple decades as China keeps buying different countries resources and their education system gets better.
PS - The stuff that is going on in Washington is indicative of the short sightedness of our leaders. Sweep them ALL out before its too late as we need solutions today.

a film last night where they mentioned that calendars are ending in 12/12 not because its the end of the world but because our sense of time changes in that traditional calendars, as we know them, will not apply any more.
Truly fascinating if that's the case.
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Here's my thought. If the end of the world is coming in 2013, then everyone should get out there and not be afraid to move forward. Make those calls that scare you, make a lot of offers, do those deals but most important build the relationships that mean the most. As the new year approaches these are all goals that should be on our resolution list whether the world ends or not. It would be horrible to have the world end with a lot of regrets.
Wishing everyone continued, and improved success as we enter the new year.
