This cause hits home for me. My family on my mother's side has been plagued with this disease and I hope one day soon there will be a cure. I have a 20 year old daughter who I'm scared to death for. Her mom (me), aunts (my sister had it twice), great aunts, and both grammas have had this (my mom had it twice). Her paternal gramma died from it. My gramma died from it. We have been tested and myself, my sister, and my mother were all found to be carriers of the mutated gene. My daughter refuses to even think of it. I don't blame her, but I worry like hell almost every day because she won't get tested. My nieces have been tested and they thankfully don't carry it. But, what would the statistics say about what my daughter's chances are of carrying this.
I'm sorry if this post is a bummer for anyone, but I just want to ask all of you who pray, to please pray for me and my daughter, and for a cure. If you don't pray, please send your good vibes our way. Please support this cause if you can. Thanks. And, thanks Dean. You are wonderful.

I truly admire Dean for his love of people and willingness to help out where he can. BRAVO Dean!
My husband lost his sister to breast cancer three years ago. So this is something that touches home as I am sure it does for so many of you.
Now you all need to get get the book and do your part...LOL
