Treat as vacant

Treat as vacant

I've done a forum search on this and it turned up nothing, so I'm asking:

Does anyone know what "treat as vacant" means? I found this on listing and it had dates to and from. I never heard this before.

Treat as vacant

Hi:
One would assume that there is a short term renter/ resident in the house so the rest of the time not listed, the house is vacant. They're possibly "snowbirds."
Also, if the house is owned by an investor, this could be a comment looking to trigger responses from other investors. You never know Eye-wink

Lastly, you could always call the homeowner or agent and ask what they mean by "treat as vacant."

Best of luck,

Lisa it might be a place

Lisa it might be a place that they use for vacation, and it is vacant for those months.

I found it

It seems to mean that the residents will be out of the home during that time frame so it can be shown. Duh, makes sense. Smiling

Thanks, you's guys!
