postlets

I am sure some of you have used postlets.com. I thought I would try it. I went on and put up an account and put in an ad. But it never showed up anywhere. I checked on other sites they go to, and nothing. When I go to my acct it shows my ad. I called a coach who said they never heard of postlets.
Has anyone used this, and is zillow part of that.

I have used postlets and they work fine. They have been around for at least 4-5 years.I am not aware that they are part of Zillow. Postlets have a method in which you can drop them into Craigslist, but I think you have to cut and paste code to do that. (Haven't used it for over a year and don't remember)

I noticed that ads on postlets included several other sites in which the same ad showed up.
Naturally, there is no such thing as a real person to answer a question.
I made an acct with them, placed the ad and submit and never saw the ad from over a week ago. But when I click on to see my ad, it is there, just never shows up anywhere.
Maybe I'll try posting another property with them and see what happens.
Been doing really good at networking and finding properties.
And REI was the best thing I ever did, other than Dean. Learned so much on hands stuff. So many helpful investors there. Can't wait to see where all this goes in the next month!

Hey Sandi, I use/d postlets

Hey Sandi, I use/d postlets several times. Unless they have changed it, it is a way to 'present'(showcase) your properties. Once an ad is created it generates and link that you can reference in you marketing. ex: http://postlets.com/res/12345678 (##yourreference##). Which inturn is just a flyer.

There is a new version Postlets Pro (small free paid) that allow for more of a virtual tour of your property. Slideshow, community info., etc. that is a website rather just a template that you can track with Google Analytics.

Unless I am mistaken, postlets are for you to 'push out' rather than as in SFL where it will blast your deals out to multiple RE sites for you through the sellpoint feature.

Through standard postlets.com, once your account is created, property ad complete you can link it to your personal FB, twitter, etc. pages and simply upload from postlets.com. As Bill mentioned you can simply drop the postlets code into your craigslist/virtual marketing ads.

God Bless,
Jen

I had never used any of the sites, but will look for the ## they did give me. I did see the Postlets pro and may use that for my historic building. Hard to understand all those sites, if you aren't a computer savvy person..
I am not on face book, or twitter or texting or any of those "complicated" things!! But learning as I go.
Thanks for the info and will try it again.
Have a blessed day.
