Okay I just want to give a Happy and Prosperous New Year to everyone!! I am currently right at this moment at home and I just took a break from reading profit from real estate right now. I've been on this website for about 3 weeks now and I am just amazed at what happens on here on a daily basis and what I learn everytime I log on it just amazing. Well anyways I am reading to take the time to thank each and everyone one of you on here for the inspiration, motivation, and determination that I need to keep moving forward in my real estate journeys. It's so awesome what Dean has put together! The main reason why I'm writing this now is because of what I'm reading/have read so far and I just am amazed. LOL! I wish I could have come across this sooner but I think I've found at the perfect time. Yes I will say I'm only 20 years old YES 20 and 21 is less than 3 months away but I thought about it.....It's the new years day and I could be out getting liquored up and club hopping and doing what the majority of other 20-21 year old guys are doing but I know no matter what at the end of the day if I were to do that where would that get me in the end?? NOWHERE!! I've seen what Dean is about and what he has to offer I want to take full advantage while I can ESPECIALLY NOW!! There's no time like the present!! The best thing is that it all makes sense, with the exception of a few questions here and there. LOL! I know that this will be a very exciting "career" for me......but if you're having fun doing it is really considered a career? I don't think so myself. I see what's out there and the possibilities and the money to be made it's unreal. Even though I have not completed my first "deal" yet I have no worries that it will become a reality no matter what! Just like Joe and Stacey say I can say I eat, breathe, and sleep real estate without a doubt and it has rubbed of on my girlfriend(of 4 and a half years!) which will soon be my wife!
and even my mother they are both excited about this and they see the passion that I have about this and know that I am 110% dedicated to this all the way through! I also have yet to tell anyone else in the family because I already know what they will say without a shout of a doubt and I DO NOT need the negative influences around me so I have made the decision to keep this between the three of us for now. If I may say too that even though I'm 20 years old and a veteran at that WOW that sounds weird....I know I have not been through what a vast majority of you have been through such as family hardships, job loss and extreme outstanding credit card debt and other serious circumstances and factors that I may have not mentioned but I wanna be able to start now that way I can prepare and hold an exciting future for myself and my soon to be wife and when the time comes.....my kids. I wanna take "THAT" step forward NOW not ten or twenty yrs from now and with this I know for a fact it will be one of the best decisions I've EVER made!! I want to look back in that time frame and be proud of the decisions I made and know that my financial independence and everything else I have around me was because of what I chose to do to make a better life not just accept that "status quo" Dean talks about. That will not be me by no means. This is my opportunity knocking at my front door and I am answering with the biggest smile on my face!
So for all of you here on DG.com and Mr. Dean graziosi himself THANK YOU ALL for EVERYTHING and may each and everyone of you get what you desire the most!!
Much Success and Best Wishes To a Brand New Year,
TheYungGun

I think you have what it takes to be successful. In reading your profile, I noticed that you are in need of credit. One of the best (and simplest) ways to increase your credit score is to get a secured (not prepaid) card from a bank. It gets reported the same way as an unsecured card does and builds your score. Just use it to buy gas, pay it down but carry a small balance, and you will be surprised how you can grow that score. Just be wise in your use as it is hard to fix bad credit in the real world. Once you get your FICO score over 620, you can qualify (if you have the income) for your own house thru FHA. Just something for you to think about. Happy New Year.

For the info and the compliment. I'll actually contact my bank I'm currently with now on monday and see what I can get my hands on! No time like the present!
