I found out how much a PO box is so I can start sending letters as more of a business...

I found out another way to assign properties by using different wording...

One more day of work, till I get 3 days off!!!

And starting this post to hopefully help others!!!

Keeping positive on our journey is a must. I am a firm believer that what ever energy you put out on this earth you will recieve in return. So we must learn how to talk and walk positivety just as though it is air that we breathe. Learning how to be true to yourself and others. By giving the respect to others that we feel we deserve in ourselves. Being open for change. Knowing how to look at things in a different perspective. One of the toughest lesson I have learned in life is how you look at things and how you react to a bad situation can make the difference in the end. I have learned to see the good in things and people. Sometimes we keep running into the same situation because the lesson to be learned, hasn't been conceived. Being in tune with your own capabilities. Who else knows you better than you. Besides God. If we can make a conscious choice to say or act negative. The same conscious mind can be positive. It comes down to us learning how to take responsibility for our actions. And make a change for the good. Continued success.........Lubertha

My take on this is also to look for the best in others, avoid judging from the outside. I try not to try to impress, just impress. Trying to do something is always difficult for me, I just do it. Negativity has no place in my life. I believe in God and he promised, he will provide all my needs, including my inaction with the world. Lubertha and I have deleted I can't from our dictionary. I love reading this stuff, and it is all so true. I'm at work right now (shh don't tell anyone) and my boss made me mad, so instead of being in a bad mood for the rest of the day, I turned it into positive motivation to get out of here!!!I log on to my DG family to get a pick me up and great advice. Keep it up (I need it)

not a problem...Everyone needs positivity in there life...regardless of what they do for a living, or go through everyday(good and bad) I just thought if people have a forum on here just for positivity, it would have to help atleast one person I would think...

Today:
Stumbled upon 31 pages of foreclosure and probate notices in a newspaper from another city not far from my work. Felt as though I had hit the jackpot!

Need to purchase Outlook for my computer and discovered they have an edition for only a little bit more that can manage business contacts efficiently. Will be researching that more.

Re-reading one of Dean's book on my train commute to work to keep things fresh and be sure I completely understand everything.

Know that with every action I take towards educating myself in RE and by doing each step brings me closer to success.

Hi everybody,
I am sitting here reading POS & NEG people,places and things that might be an issue. If anyone has ever read one of my comments,You should know I am out there by now.
When it comes down to positive and negative...You really need both to have an common ground!!!
I do not have much to say other than...Don't second guess yourself/And jobs have been known too hold people back.

My positive thought:In 6 months i will give my two weeks notice and never look back.

my deciesed wife and I moved compleatly out of the area and had a good life for many years enjoying each other and life Tell her death I could have curled up and begame a old man but insted I remaried and went on with life and found a new passion in realestate.

I now have it on my signature here. It's a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Program. On the site you participate in fun vocabulary multiple choice questions and for every correct answer 10 grains of rice are donated to help feed people around the world. I certainly don't know many of the vocabulary words but I find if I take a second to think them through based on the choices given I figure out most of them. So I help provide rice to those in need and improve my vocabulary! It's such an easy way to help people. I took a few minutes just before posting here and was able to donate 400 grains of rice.

That's my positive thought for the day!

I am very blessed that I have 2jobs right now.
That pushes me forward each day closer to my REI deals.
Last night I was planning on my next REI meeting and caught
myself telling a friend/investor I can't do this or I dont know
how??? She stopped me from saying those negative things and to be
more positive, I stand corrected. One more step to making that first
deal come true.

I know that you will not mind coz we are long time buddies ...

I am jumping in here to relpy to "aerialist" about the
www.freerice.com thing.

Long story short, I spent hours and hours and hours 'playing' on this site when my child was in hospital for most of last year.
Lots of time spent sitting around and waiting. It felt really great to do something to help other people at a time when I felt helpless! Thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of grains of rice donated by my participation, it was fun, easy and a welcomed distraction.

I think parents should do this with their children.

I think teachers should assign homework assignments around this.

Thanks for the reminder though, I had forgotten.

Thinking about it though, this is a very positive thought of the day moment - helping other people with no personal gain, what could be more positive than that?

Nancy and Angela, I have taken your advice about giving back of the rice...I haven't done a ton of it, but I did take a little while and answered questions...i did more of the math and grammar stuff...feels good, and to know it is legitimate is nice too...

As you know I follow your threads and I know that you do not love your job but I am truly impressed with your change in attitude towards it for the time being until you can quit. This is SO wise and this is also VERY smart thinking.
Great to know that you have been happier lately, amazing what a shift in attitude will do for you!

-great night with my little brother last night...
-and up early after getting in late to head to the beach with him...
-i was able to push off "crap" that old friends(that turned out not good)were trying to cause problems cause things didn't go there way...
-but I don't let any of that stuff bother me cause I am above childish games...
ANYWAYS off to the beach with my brother...

-moms birthday
-taking her out tonight for dinner after work
-had people try to bring me down cause of certain situations that are happening, and even though they are not even part of the situation, they make sure to get there 2 cents in about 50 times - so I told them how I feel, and moved onto more important things
-had good times that I wouldn't trade with my brother saturday and sunday
-I learn everyday and am reminded how far I have come in the last couple years with everything in my life

Dont worry about the friends that are putting out negative words. In my opinion they are mad at themselves because they are scared to make a change, and by putting you down it makes them feel better about themselves being stuck in a rut. Its like when your a teen and you get that peer pressure put on you by other kids to either drink with them or do drugs with them or get made fun of if you dont. They want you to join them so they don't feel guilty about doing the drugs or alcohol in front of YOU who is a reminder that they are doing the wrong thing.
Remember one thing, you will know alot of people in life ,but your real friends you will be able to count on one hand, in the end. They are the ones that support you no matter what and pick you up when you fall.

To me every day i wake up is a positive thing I always think of what will be in my future and how i am getting there. Life is too short to think about the bad things, You have to have a short memory when it comes to negative things. focus on where you heading and don't ever let anyone dictate your life for you.

thanks richie...I am so happy you responded, and said what you did...it makes me feel better, cause with what you are saying, is what I have been thinking...It is nice to have someone validate how ya feel...

At points, I almost felt like fighting back and defending myself from what they were saying, but I new it wouldn't make a difference, and actually, it would only make things worse for myself...Not worth bringing myself down levels after working hard to climb up, so I did what i needed, and said think what you want, and thats that...

I know it is easy to be negative, and that is one thing I can't stand...whats the point?

The only place it gets you is in an unhappy place and in a bad mood...nobody wants to be around those types of people...

and last but not least
-If I had a drink in front on me, I would drink to "heading in the right direction"

First the not so nice backstory: about 7 years ago I hired a moving company and one of the movers stole my laptop, money and jewelry, none of it ever seen again. This morning I was in my jewelry drawer that I've been in a million times and I found one of the necklaces wrapped around another piece of jewelry. Couldn't believe it! How could I have missed it all of these years? A very nice & pleasantly surprising way to begin the day.
