As a new investor I am slowly building my buyers list by going to RE meetings, and ghost ads. As my list grows I am finding it harder to keep track of my buyers and their criteria. Currently I am adding their info to my Google contacts and putting their criteria in their contact notes. I'm finding it a bit challenging to maintain my list this way.
I am preparing for my business growth by seeking out different ways of organizing them. What are some other techniques that have worked for you?
Thanks,
{J}

I agree! This is one of my top priorities. Managing my buyers list. Zoho.com is a good free idea says Dean. I prefer hand written techniques, so i bought myself a notecard box. I am still figuring out how to order/categorize them. I look forward to the new suggestions! BUMP!

but, you also have to start doing deals and see if these "buyers" are truly buyers! Quality over quantity. You really only need a couple to couple dozen really good buyers. So with that, I think you can make a word document of buyers name, contact info and criteria. Keep it in a buyers folder and just add to the list. It is okay to have it both online and in hard copy in case of the computer being down, or some kind of damage to a paper copy. Always have a back up.
You may want to also seperate wholesale buyers from other buyers, or even to further breakdown the buyers list, until you really know if the buyers are truly going to buy! You can breakdown by area code or type of buyers, such as commercial, etc.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I do understand about quality over quantity. That brings up another point. In organizing I would like to also be able to rank my buyers. I can keep a buyers list and a network list. Keeping a paper and a electronic list is a good point. Right now I have their contact information and cards in a notebook and on my Google contacts. I'm just not convinced that's the best way. I'll give outlook a shot.
