OfflineMany people are programmed to being negative. I’m talking about unconsciously reacting to everything in life in a negative way. Seeing the downside to every situation, the worst case scenario, thinking “this doesn’t work” or “It won’t work for me”, using words like “I can’t” “I’m not capable”. A persons mindset will make or break whether or not they achieve success in life. Simple changes can help change a persons mindset. Using words like “I can”, “I can do this”, “I will do this”, “It will be difficult but not impossible”, “Others have done it – so can I”. Music is a powerful tool in uplifting your spirits when you are feeling down or having negative or discouraging thoughts. Everyone has a down day. Hits roadblocks. Has challenges. ….EVERYONE! If you think that this has been easy for a particular person, all that means is that you don’t know them very well. Nobody achieves success without challenges. Stay positive – you can do this. A challenge is simply an opportunity for growth.

that I am an Idiot for paying any attention to anything to do with Real Estate
which makes me lose ground. It is so hard to drown out the bad, that sometimes

I like to add to this "if you want to fly with the eagles don't dwell with the turkeys." This is a quote that has been with me for many years. I feel that this goes along with Karen's information. You just need to remember that you can and make those around you those that will lift you up to be the eagle you were meant to be.

We fight to succeed. Everyday. It isn't easy. Who said it was. YOu can do it. find a way....

And just like Dean said, it is a mindset. I find that I am increasingly moving from negative thoughts about being able to do real estate, and with more positive thoughts and positive actions I am moving forward in REI.
