I haven't as of yet, but a lot of the offers I've made are REO's and from what I've found, they won't allow you to assign contracts. Where are you located? I'm in Lumberton myself. I'm fairly new to REI, but if there's anything I can do for you, just ask.
I am currently working on doing assignments in South Jersey. Does anyone know the assignment laws in NJ?

you actually can do "CONTRACT ASSIGNMENTS" on REO's, VA, HUD, etc. Now a LOT of the time they will REJECT your offer if you sign your contract with "AND/OR ASSIGNS". However, if you have a contract that states the contract can be ASSIGNED(the language should be somewhere, where the contingencies are listed) as a CONTINGENCY you may have a better chance getting it accepted.
When you say "They will reject your offer" who are you referring to?
Let's say that I use the agreement of sale in the docs. Where do you suggest I put the contingency of AND/OR ASSIGN on the contract?
Do I put something like:
I have the right to assign this contract etc...

I have found some great assignments in NJ. Some in areas that I am not familiar with or are a little far for me. I would love to be able to share these deals with my SJ family. I have had many wholesalers contact me wanting to network but I would rather stay within my DG family.

I think ive over anilzed this thing, now and its time to reach to here to see if i can connect with some one whos thinking along the lines that im thinking.that fear thing its tearable,ive read so much about it thru the postings ,that it had me questing my reasons why i was doing this. well enough of that .taking the leap of faith in to this,so if theres any one out there that would like to network? well ive done it any way ive put my self out here....hope to here from some of you...and thanks for having this space for me to use...John
