Logical Decisions
There are 2 things we all can do ~ Make choices, or Make Excuses. Yes, excuses are for the birds. Choices, whether they are goo or bad, effect our everyday life,m depending on what we decide to do, and what kind of effect it can have on our lives. If we choose happiness, we'll be happy. If we choose to be sad, we'll be sad. If we we choose to do nothing, we'll get nothing and end up saying, "Well, tomorrow I'll do this or that." and not actually do this or that.
I choose to put one foot in front of the other, and be a little more proactive, because doing nothing positive don't help in my daily life. Actions speak louder than words, and life isn't always easy, but it's doable, if we all work at it, and do the best we can to try. (:

I have been trying hard and working without support. I am like your lady that made it from 0. I would like to get partnered up with you. I have heard that you will partner with your students I have contacted your groups about getting some of those properties to get started but no one will work with me not even your partners. I am having the hardest part getting the funding. As no one will give me the funding I have contacted the hard money lenders but they will only go 50% I need the other 50% before I can do the deal I have 2 deals I am working on and cannot find the money. I have tried and still am trying to get the support but If you would have some of your local guys help out us that are just getting started I would be willing to do anything. If there was a way that we could get support letters for the other 50% of the funding so we could do the deals.
I hope I can get your book also I have all of your books that I can get. I am still one of your PMI students. I have been told to partner with RE agents in my area but no one will partner with someone who has no money and no credit to get money.

I wrote a long message and I do not know if it posted. I would like to get help I am like your students that started with nothing. I need to money and no one will work with us that have no money and no credit to get money.
I have 2 deals that I would like to do but I need the money or the letter of funds available so the banks will lend to me.

Another great video blog!! Now, I'm *REALLY* interested to read Totally Fulfilled! I have three of your other books, but I always saw that this was your first big one. Here's to breaking records!
I've been battling with limited financial resources the past couple years so I am partnering up with a fellow DGer who lives about an hour from me. We met at an REI club (go figure!!) about two years ago and he's had real success in his area.
I've decided that I will be another set of boots on the ground for him and, in exchange for helping him expand his "mining fields", I'll have somebody to help me with marketing expenses and a great source of real estate knowledge and experience!!

You're absolutely correct ! Most decisions we make are emotionally-driven.
Though I like to think that I'm a very logical thinker, I know that a LOT of the decisions I make are made more from the heart than the brain !! lol
And I also know that most large purchases that people make -- especially in home-buying -- are guided by emotions. It's like dating -- until we've found THE ONE, no decisions will be made, and no money is going to change hands.
So a good, enlightening blog this week -- reminds us that we're all human and subject to our various foibles.
And a good "kick in the pants" as well, as always. You keep us on our toes, Dean !

For more of the great weekly wisdom you share with us. I for one have been pushing your book Totaly Fullfilled for the last few years. It was this book that opened my eyes and brain to make REI work for us. Next to the Bible I feel it is the best book that helped me with other parts of my life. I thank you Dean for wanting to share this book with everyone it will change a lot of life's.
I also want to say that Dean really does help his students with deals. He helped Veronica and I find a HML when we needed one and I do not know if Dean wants me to post this but Dean gave us 5k once when we had two deals going on at the same time and we needed the money to pay a contractor before the contractor walked out on us. Dean gave us the money right away. Dean knows Veronica and I do to some advanced classes we have taken with Dean and Matt plus some other great students on this site. We were able to pay Dean back one month later after we sold a flip property. Dean will help his students that show him that we will use his training to make deals happen.
Thanks again Dean for all that you do and all that you have done for us.
