This week, a stuffy nosed Dean has a challenge for you that is going to put a big smile on your face.
Bigger even than the $100 gift from last week.
If you've been following the blogs the last few weeks and taking on the challenges, this week is going to be a welcomed relief for you. Watch and see!
Good Morning Dean
It is 3:17 a.m. here in Missouri, couldn't sleep, so thought I would post. I hope your cold is better. Actually when you gave us the fun challenge, I hadn't thought about what I was going to do for fun. We did go out for Mexican after we voted on Tues. that was fun. I also came across a word search in my birddogging work book. I enjoy word games, gave me a smile. There is still Sat. and Sun., I to enjoy music very much, it is one of my favorite past times, we have a music show here at the lake called Main Street Opry. Some friends invited us to go couple weeks ago. They did music from the 60's and 70's, it was just totally awesome. Some of the singers and people from the band have performed all over the world. A gift from God. I do miss the boat rides.
I met with my first real estate agent yesterday, and looked at some very nice apartments, took some pictures, putting this together for an investor. Making steps everyday. So different from working at the bedside taking care of patients. I'm going to give it my best shot. HA!! No pain no gain. Thanks for all you do.
Challenge 101
Starting it is a me day. The time to do what I want to do without any schedules. But since it is my 71st birthday Tuesday, this week I will be dined and wined by friends. I need the break...have really been busy getting ducks in a row. Thanks for the tip
Love to Give Myself a New Kind of Break!
Love to Give Myself a New Kind of Break!
Being involved in this website and learning from the 3 books is going to give me the break I need.
But for now, no relaxation - just action!
Need to get some deals under my belt. Time for a break will come later.
Thanks Dean

response to blog about Turn Turn Turn
"Turn! Turn! Turn! (to Everything There Is a Season)", often abbreviated to "Turn! Turn! Turn!", is a song adapted entirely from the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible (with the exception of the last line) and put to music by Pete Seeger in 1959. Seeger waited until 1962 to record his own version of it, releasing the song on his The Bitter and the Sweet album on Columbia Records.[1] 45% of the royalties for the song are donated to the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions, due, in Seeger's own words, to the fact that "[in addition to the music] I did write six words."[2] The song became an international hit in late 1965, when it was covered by The Byrds, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #26 on the UK Singles Chart.

Give yourself a break
Hi Dean,
This blog is from 10-31-10 and I am playing catch up as of the last two hours of Sunday 11-21-10. Boy was glad to see you blog about give yourself a break. Find something you love and do it. I had been thinking it's getting to be time to make my T-Day wreath and then I thought how am I going to do that??? You see I am the family care taker of everyone and this time it's serious with my mom. She ended up in the ER Thursday and coded right in front of me. There I was all alone and no other family with me. I could not believe what I was seeing. I have been nursing my mom back to health from a major situation that took place at a nursing home since late August. She ended up having surgery and could not bear any weight on her feet at all and no way was she going to go back to the nursing home to recover. Sooo; she's been home with us at the Galgano Inn as my daughter calls it. After tubes being put in and taken out and 2 days of being delirious she has finally landed mentally. She is out of ICU and I am able to finally take my own breath of air. So yes, I will do something that I love to do for me. I need to take care of me. I must never forget about me.
As always; can never thank you enough.
Karin
Sorry I'm Late:
Things with my kids have taken me away from home.
But I'm back it was my anniversary last week and was really hard (my husband pass away last year.) But I am so glad you we were thinking on the same wave I had to just take some time to think and smell the roses. Things were coming in all directions. I am taking a week off to get things lined up and I will be up and running.
Thanks for all your help.

Dahn Yoga and take a walk with my cat
I have been feeling overwhelmed because I just started the Success Academy and I feel I am in way over my head. So listening to your blog right now is very comforting. I have been neglecting my cat and he has been a trouper. But he and I love taking walks together at night. So that is what I am going to do today. I love talking walks with him. We bond when we take our walks together and we have so much fun together exploring. thanks for reminding me to have fun with him in the outdoors. I'm lucky I have a cat that will walk with me, too.
