PROGRESS!

I finally understand the necessary contracts I need to close on properties. This is a must, and is definitely a huge milestone for me. I already have properties lined up and plan on doing my first deal by February. I've been working to get everything set up for a smooth deal, including: realtor, title co., buyers list, and mortgage broker. I'm short on money right now but I'm working on creating a website (through Wix or Vistaprint), business cards, flyers, and a few other things. I recently learned that a real estate attorney is a must for assignment deals, and a title company cannot substitute this position, so I'm working on finding an attorney. I'll be wholesaling in Fort Worth (Tarrant County), Texas, and look forward to working with other investors in the area.

AWESOME NEW INVESTING TOOL!..and its FREE!!!

I just found an amazing alternative for having an automated phone line. GOOGLE VOICE! I have yet to hear anything about this option on the site and had to share it with everyone. By creating a google voice account, you not only have an automated phone line (which you can have multiple lines), but you are also able to receive notifications and access your voicemails from your computer and your phone! Also, you can even receive a transcribed version of the voice message in the form of a text message right to your phone!

Happy Holidays

The holiday season can either be a great time or a terrible time depending on your financial and social status. We can all feel lonely or loved, fortunate or unfortunate, but no matter what your situation is, we're all family. We're all human beings, and we all have enormous potential. So regardless of how your holiday season may be this year, be thankful for what you have. Don't be ashamed of what you don't have, or what you can't afford, none of that matters as long as you know where you want to go with your life. A good person is good no matter what, whether they're rich or poor, lucky or unlucky. Think about the things you would like to change and why, and use that as your motivation to make next year better than this one.

Getting Started

The hardest part of anything is getting started, but I'm proud to finally start my blog and share my progress with the Dean Family. I got Deans books almost 3 years ago when I was a sophomore in high school. I'm 18 years old now, a freshman in college, a waiter at olive garden, and I hope to be one of Dean's youngest success stories. I've read "PROFIT FROM REAL ESTATE RIGHT NOW!" twice (going on 3 times), and spend a lot of time researching on the site.
