"Get to stepin'!!!"

Success begins with you. If you are reading this consider yourself successful. Often I was told “I don’t know how to use a computer.” I always said you play games, check e-mail, look at photos, etc. You know how to use a computer. No matter what you’ve done so far in REI consider the fact that you are succeeding. It may not be apparent now but when you look back you will see that you’ve come a long way. This thought came to me not too long ago. As I am rehabbing my legs and learning to walk again, our cells have a memory. This memory tells them how to work. Toddlers start out by crawling then walking. A learned behavior. REI is no differ. We didn’t quit walking the 1st time we fell or stumbled? No, we continued to walk.

Challenges face us every day. If you look on your life up to now you will see you’ve beaten those challenges. None have keep you out of the game. You adapted and you moved on. As you progress in REI there are many parts to it. You may feel “bird-dogging” is not working out for you so you switch to wholesaling and found a better fit. Continuing to walk (our main way of locomotion). And yes some us run. You too have the capability to run.

As you think back on your life consider grade school. You were (in most cases) promoted to the next grade as you became proficient. All the lobs you had/have you started with training and you became proficient. You WILL become proficient at REI. Ask any DG coach, family member who have attained superstar status.

My point is this. Rejoice in the small successes. No matter how small. Things have a way of “snowballing” When you compare your last day on your job to the first I bet you’ll say that you were a heck better than you’re first day. When you get up to (fill in the blank) consider the fact that you are not stumbling, you’ve mastered the art of walking. Hold up a magnifying glass to amplify those successes in order to build on them. So you called a REA, appraiser, lawyer, etc. You got past that “challenge”. Now on to the next…..step. And pretty soon you’re walking. If you like to jog/run, well that’s up to you.

Snowballing effect will start to appear and make you wonder “Why was I so afraid”? Just by doing something you succeed every time. So in the words of Martin Lawrence, “Get to steppin!”
