I have been working for the National Park Service for the past twenty five years. I have worked and lived in some beautiful places. Even a job in a beautiful location can still be really stressful. I took a break a few years ago, at age 40 and served in the Peace Corps for two years in Belize.

My goal is to make Real Estate investing a full time endeavor by the end of this year. I am a caregiver for my twin sister, who has metastatic breast cancer. I know that REI will give me the financial freedom to continue to support her financially and help others achieve their goals.

I am really looking forward to meeting many new people through the DG site and forming partnerships with those I meet so we can all achieve success.

I decided to start reading journals and yours is very inspiring. Thanks for stopping by my guestbook. You and Greg are the first two. I have done those flips and now have raised enough money that I want to do a buy and hold. So I would really like to find something with multiple units = I am looking at two properties tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.

What did you think of all the online course work through success academy. Was it really good? I only did a few of the classes. If you really got a lot out of it, I will probably get back in and try it again.

Judi,
thank you for your kind words and for reading my journal; I started it as a way to keep me motivated and accountable, and I'm very humbled that it has inspired you.
SA- I have enjoyed reading the lessons, but nothing like the advice from other DG investors! they are very knowleadgeable and like to share their experience!
