AT THE END OF THE DAY...

…who you are is totally and completely up to you!!!

Investing can be difficult. At times we have to deal with agents that don’t know what they are doing, buyers that won’t pull the trigger on a property, and sellers that are unrealistic. However, it is up to us as to how we deal with these people. I’ll admit that I have been guilty of letting other people’s decisions influence me in a difficult way. I have found that it is very important to understand that our life is up to us. And I’m not just talking about our life’s destination. I’m talking about how we live our life day to day. When we let others influence us in a negative way even for a day that is a day lost.

Just remember…
At the end of the day who you are is totally and completely up to you!!!

Everything ....

"People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it"

I love this quote! I love it because right here in this section "Success Forum" are people who are doing it and not allowing negative people stop them. We all have challenges and obstacles to overcome and negative nay sayers are a part of those for all of us. These type of people are all around us. DON'T ALLOW THEM TO GET IN YOUR WAY! They will never accomplish what you are accomplishing because they are not willing to do the work that you are willing to do. You will achieve success and reap the rewards of your efforts!

You have no limits - MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Happy Investing!!

Power Team in Place and Ready to Make Offers!

My mom got involved with the DG family two years ago. About a year ago I decided to jump in with her. Because of college, I didn't invest the time into it that I could have. After my mom attended the AREA manager certification a few weeks ago and sharing the info with me, I was on fire and ready to go. Two weeks ago I decided that if I wanted to see success I needed to start now. I wanted to be a full service wholesaler, something Matt talks about a lot. So I decided to hit the ground running. No more waiting.

TAKE ACTION !!!

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” –Henry David Thoreau

I am a big quote guy. I love the motivation I receive from reading encouraging words.

What do you think is the most important word in this quote? At first glance I thought the most important word was “confidently” however, after further thought the most important word is “Go”. We can’t accomplish anything if we don’t take action. Confidence will build only AFTER we take action.

I get the contact info for the buyer.....would you believe that it is the seller??? WTH? This was my first deal, and this happens....my balloon is deflated. Frustrated, aggravated! Mom's Shouting from the Rooftop

This mom (me) just had to post about how proud I am of my son. He went to the Edge with me in April and has attended boots on the ground. He is 19 now and has been dabbling with the real estate business off and on. But like most 19-year old young men, he wanted some quick cash in his pocket so got a job--one of those telemarketing jobs. First day on the job this past Saturday he was the top producer. And all week this week the same; however, he told me after a couple of days that he just didn't feel right about it because he was having to "trick" people into buying stuff. He was going to qualify for a $300 bonus tomorrow Saturday--all he had to do was finish out his day at work today and tomorrow and it would have been cash in his pocket.

<Living my Dreams!!

Good Day All! First off, I want to say Hello to everyone here on the site, as this is my very first post!

My success story is very simple!

1)I made a commitment to myself and my family to become a real estate Wholesaler, and pursue a career in real estate using Dean's guidance!!!

After spending 10 years in an Executive Sales position, and creating revenue for other people, I quit my job and have fully devoted myself to being a real estate wholesaler! Before then, I too, was a Matt Larson.. I worked as a machinist for 10 years prior to being recruited into Capitol Equipment Sales.

The sky is the limit...or is it?

Just remember…THE SKY IS THE LIMIT. This saying is so… FALSE!!! I was reading one day when I ran across this, “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.” I stopped mid-sentence when I read this saying. The engineers and astronauts who planned to journey beyond this earth certainly didn’t see any limits in the sky. This should be our outlook for life.

In my previous career I was surrounded by negative people who saw limits in everything. It was a difficult environment to work in. Unfortunately, many of my coworkers saw the ceiling as the limit let alone the sky. Then one day it clicked in my mind that there’s more out there and that in order to feel completely fulfilled I would have to make a career change.
