So your new to this: A guide for the new
July 31st, 2012 | posted by keb64Hi All
I just wanted to post here on what I thought was the most important things a new person should do when starting out. Below you will find a list of what I think a new person should do first before diving head first into this great world of real estate investing.
#1.Ask yourself the real reason you are doing this. Why are you really doing this...We all can say money but it is more than money, let me tell you! Do the seven levels deep that dean talks about on here under his weekly wisdom. It will help you to put your feet firmly on the ground.
#2. Set goals: Don't just say them but put them in writing and put them up so that you can read them every morning and evening. It will help you so much you will not even realize.
buying properties a week before auction
July 30th, 2012 | posted by chanel new lifeI have a question how to handle a list of homes with addresses that will go to auction on August 7 . I do not have money to go and bid. I checked a few of the houses, they have equity, good location etc. There is one to be available for home owner's association fees. I haven't done any deal yet. I thought maybe there is someone who would buy simply the lead? Any ideas?
Please let me know. What options do I have? Thanks Halina

Need Private funding, inherited free and clear house
July 2nd, 2012 | posted by midamericaI inherited a house in Watertown, Wisconsin that's going to be in probate for at least four months. It's appraised value is $148K. I'm looking for $70K in private money to complete the purchase of an assisted-living facility that I have under contract and don't want to lose. Interest rate is negotiable, and private lender is welcome to first lien position on BOTH properties. Term is 12 months. Thanks for reading this.

Shortage of homes for sale creates fierce competition
With housing inventory at a low, would-be buyers are scrambling to bid on homes before they're even listed, and real estate agents are vying to represent the few sellers that do exist.
During an open house event, a steady stream of real estate brokers flows through a three-bedroom bungalow for sale in Los Angeles’ Highland Park area.
