The Challenge- How to set yourself apart from all of the other "We Buy Houses" folks while making big profits and branding your company as one of the 'good guys' in the least amount of time possible.

Sounds like a daunting task, right? Yeah, I thought the same thing when the idea popped into my head.

Two Unique Opportunities For Great Deals

Two Unique Opportunities For Great Deals

The marketing strategy and idea that I would like to share in this article can be very lucrative and be well worth your effort.

Two types of facilities in your town that you should definitely be marketing to for great deals are Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes. It is very unfortunate but many of the elderly today have to downsize and sell their homes.

Database Goldmining

Database Goldmining

In this article I want to confess a huge marketing mistake I made when I started in real estate investing. I did not keep and maintain a database of leads I generated from my marketing efforts and I did not follow up with the database of leads on a regular basis.

The real estate agents have a valuable source of potential deals for the real estate investor - the Multiple Listing Service. Unfortunately, real estate agents have a monopoly on this information, so they may be a necessary part of an investor’s game plan.

You Have to Sell a House to Get it Sold

You Have to Sell a House to Get it Sold
by Bill Bronchick

The market is slowing and investors are drowning in house payments. Is there an end in sight? Probably not. But, is there something you can do about it? Certainly dropping the price until you get it sold it one way to do it. I've got a better solution - sell the house.

Finding Buyers In 2008

Times they are a changin'.

Whereas in 2005 finding a buyer for your wholesale deal was easy, we are now faced with a much more challenging predicament. I have personally coined this annoying situation as "Reality."

HELP!! I Found My Very First End Buyer But I Don't Understand What He Is Saying

I used the techniques in BARM and found my first end buyer. My problem is that I don't understand what he said.

I asked the buyer what types of properties he is interested in and he says to me: "Anything that is not more than 65% including COR".

I take it that COR means "Cost of Repair", but what is it he is telling me??

Any help would be appreciated.

Dave

Important bit of information

I just wanted to give an important bit of information to new investors and old ones alike. (Myself included)

When you send out letters, email's, contracts, direct mailing's etc...

Always always make sure your spelling and punctuation marks are correct and in the right places.

For some reason a lot of people (not all) will perceive you as stupid and feel they can pull one over on you if they see you cannot spell. They feel it is a weakness and that you probably are not a person who "dots all their I's and crosses all their t's" in business dealing's.

Sell your property with a HOUSE RAFFLE!!

Since not to many people are able to sell their house in today's market many are turning to an alternative that has hit my section of the world like a title wave. HOUSE RAFFLES!

There are so many house raffles in my area that I decided to check out the basis of such an operation. here is what I found...

You cannot legally have a house raffle without a charity involved. Designate a charity that will receive any proceeds over that which you are asking for your house.

Help please(not sure if go for it or stay away)

I am a new invester. I had an ad on craiglist, looking for other investors. I am trying to find investors who can get loans or already have the money to buy homes. I currently don't have the money, and doubt I would get approved on loans cause of my age. I am 22. Anyways, I got a response from a big company in seattle that buys all over the states.
