So i am really trying to understand the entire process of deeds vs title . Does the title process occur after funds are disbursed? what if you have the property owner (lets say in foreclosure) deed you their property so you can talk with their bank; does that mean that you are still not the owner, but can negotiate on the sellers behalf? also, title occurs at closing correct? so is it possible to have deed on a property, but not title?

July 15th, 2009 | posted by Ramz71I was wondering if there is someone that can answer my question.
I found a couple of vacant properties but I am having difficulty finding information on the properties. Is there a sight that I can go to or where

Great Property - Finding the facts.
June 26th, 2009 | posted by AngelaKThis is one of the most frustrating things that I have found. I find what seem to be good deals all the time, just being in my own neighborhood and being very aware of things like FSBO signs, overgrown lawns and what seem to be abandoned properties etc.
I go home, I go to the various RE sites, and I type in the property, only to be told there are no matching results?
WHAT?
I just saw the prop. live and in person 5 minutes ago and now I am looking at an aerial view of a 'patch of green nothing'!

need help understanding title company
June 19th, 2009 | posted by buffs28This may be a dumb question, but I really don't understand the role of a title company. Do they just show up at closing and title the property in the banks name, and have on there whoever the homeowner is making payments? Someone said you get paid by the title company at closing. I've never bought a house before and need to understand this concept. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. Thanks for your help
Should I become a Real Estate Agent?
June 12th, 2009 | posted by dscvdvrGreetings all,
My question today is, would there be any advantages or disadvantages to becoming a licensed real estate agent in the state I am searching and investing in?
It has occurred to me that having access to various RE resources might be an advantage.
Thanks
David
