First bandit signs out and about!

We have built a wholesalers list with some local people in the area. We are not looking at them as competition, just simply people who could also help us because they too have a buyers list.

About 20 bandit signs out as of now. Not getting many calls(Just 1 so far), but I think I need to make the lettering thicker. I did basic 18" by 24", yellow backboard, handwritten "We buy houses, any condition, ###." Also, I bought the short stake, meaning the sign is really close to the ground, that probably has alot to do with it..

Thinking about buying higher stakes and thicker sharpie and going around to every one of them and 're-updating.' I know its not location, as all my signs are located on either busy intersections or high profile businesses (Mcdonalds, Walmart) entrances/exits.

Good or bad idea?

Yes I'll probably buy some higher stakes then and re-update the signs. I don't think drivers are able to get a good look from the angle its at right now.

Do you know if Walmart or Lowes sells stakes for bandit signs?

Quick update I actually decided to go and buy a thicker sharpie. The biggest available the magnum. Last night I went to about 12 diff signs and retouched them and it made a huge difference. Tonight I plan on finishing off the rest of them. Now you can see WE BUY HOUSES and the ## from a distance.

Hopefully I'll start getting some leads.

Ya magnum Sharpies work great! I put two signs on the exits of my local Walmart and I received A LOT of calls! Maybe you can try that? Basically put them in any busy area of your town/city.

The biggest thing is that your taking action! Don't stop and keep moving forward!! Success to us all!

Yeah actually I have 2 signs on Walmart right down street from me, its a supercenter.
Other than that they're all in busy intersections or right before turning into library entrances.

Good job on your action. I put out about 20 the other day and from what I know so far 3 got taken down or stolen.
