Hi guys!!
This is the first post on my journey to achieving financial freedom!
I have read several books on RE investing and I am currently reading 30 Days To RE Cash. Which, in my opinion, is by far the easiest guide I've read to actually achieving what I want to do.
This past week I have contacted an investor friendly RE Agent who is willing to work with me and understands what I'm trying to do. And last night my fiancé and I joined our local REI group.
We currently have a duplex and we are both really excited to start our journey doing some wholesales so we can buy more multi-units!
I've decided to start this journal so I have like-minded people I can speak with. There's no one around my circle of friends who is thinking of making a better life for themselves outside a 9-5 job.
I will be posting updates frequently!

sorry you said that already that you had read the book. Good. I would say most of all build your buyers list & that you should have at least 20 buyers for every deal you want to wholesale.
And you know the ways to get buyers, rei clubs most of all, ghost ads, calling we buy houses ads on google & clist & having your agent give you a list of cash sold props for the past 90 days & i would include SFR's & duplxes & 3-4 units too since you wont get as many solds if you just stick to duplex sales or 3-4 units sales ok.

YOu go! Most agents don't really understand investing so dont sweat it, you prob know more than she does or at least as much, unless she is a pro & that is awesome you can learn from her, a great agent is worth their weight in gold.

The key to being successful which I have learnt so far is sticking with DG.com. The more knowledge you get, take more action immediately.
Always be ready for challenges because the will surely. TO me when I don't face problems, that means I am not trying hard enough. The only to overcome them is by having a lot of courage from your goals which you plan on accomplishing and believing in your self as well.

being a Landlord is a wonderful experience! It's a great responsibility, but the rewards, both financially, and emotionally, are awesome!
Keep reading books (both rei and self-growth) and threads on this site, attend rei club meetings, attend rei conferences in your area... the more you hang out with re investors, the faster you will feel comfortable doing rei!

Hi all!
I am back from my honeymoon and in full swing!
I am absolutely broke right now (aside, of course, from the money to pay the bills and a 3 month cushion for our house payment). Which simply motivates me more to look for deals!
I am driving around the city picking up the numbers of some "we buy houses" signs and finding out about them. So far they're voicemails so I left them my number to call back.
I have my eye on a couple of properties. So let's see how it goes!
On other news: I am getting ready to close a letterpress printing business I started in 2010. I'm having mixed feelings, though I know it's the right thing to do. I guess it feels a little bit like mourning.
