....The 4th of July is here and to some this marks the peak of Summer time fun. Today is a great day to gather with friends and family. A day to celebrate freedom and independence. So often we may lose site of the true meaning behind a holiday. Other generation have sacrified to get us where we are today. The freedom we all enjoy for being citizens of the U.S.A. Let's celebrate and enjoy the day.

Let's say a prayer that more of our troops are able to come home to their families safe and unharmed. And let us also pray for all the families that have lost their homes to the massive Arizona fire.

We have an awesome country, full of blessings and opportunities. Our freedom was founded by some brave men and women willing to die to give us that freedom. And through the years millions of men and women died to keep that freedom and to keep us safe!
Lets not forget that this is something to acknowledge every day of our lives. They not only sacrifice their lives and keep us safe, but they also give up being here and enjoying everyday life in the U.S.A.
Tonight on our local news was something special. We have a town of Cedarburg just north of Milwaukee. It is an awesome town, holding fast to good values, and tons of festivals year round. Keeping in the Norman Rockwell atmosphere. Well Toby Keith was there today and as he sang Made In America, a new song, they filmed for his video the people at the parade and some of the farms. Will be anxious to see it in a couple weeks.

I pray for America and the rest of the world for PEACE, HEALTH and HAPPINESS. I pray that this stupid war will come to an end. I pray for those serving overseas that they will finally come home to their families safe and sound. I pray for those who have lost love one in the war.
