While you're on the train to work, take one of dean's books along and read
it -and get the mindset to allow your entrepreneural itch to kick in.
I read Dean's books and reread as much as I feel I need to. ( I'm Re-reading
BARM now). This is the place to get inspired so take some notes from
students' blogs and take them along, too.
Your success is waiting for you. Go for it!
you've realised RE is not for you.
No shame in it. Better that if thats the case that you find out now as opposed to you spending all this money on forming an LLC, getting biz cards, hanging up signs all around town, posted 3k+ ads about homes, etc
Not at all trying to be the bearer of bad news, just being realistic if that's how you feel. Coming on here is not going to inspire you; it'll soothe your ego and make you feel better and perhaps justify to you that your time wasn't wasted, but it won't tackle the possible reality that this is not for you.
Only you can know what you want; if you don't have a burning feeling to do this, you might already know the answer.
Hope this helps and I truly wish you the best
Get books on audio and listen to them. Nonstop. If you REALLY want this, now that you have a J O B, you will need to make time to do it. I have cut my sleep down to 7 hrs a night to make the time to expand my RE and given up a lot of music in the car.
littledoe893, good advice and I've been doing that on the train, but feel like I am overloading myself with information and feel stressed out about it, but I'm still pushing myself. I hope this is the place to get inspired b/c I feel so far away from my dream to free my whole family and myself from this financial prison. Having a job is great and I can say this easily b/c Ive been without a job for about 2 years a couple months ago. And been following Dean Graziosi since 2007, and even my mindset changed from what many people think about financial security and freedom. I've learned not to depend on the JOB, Government or anything or anyone else, but myself and make things happen, not sit around and wait. And to elixbrown REAL ESTATE IS FOR ME!! Its just Ive been wondering how i can do this around my area in which houses go for $600000 and up. I hate having to know i have to wake up everyday to work and make the boss happy and not myself. To Zion Properties, Thanks for the advice but I don't have a car yet . I also cut my sleep down to 5hrs-6hrs so i can pursuit everything i desire in life and to better myself. Its just i need to find the strength and flame again to want to do this. Thanks everyone
Keep your head up man you are only 21. I wish I would have started studying REI at your age. My wife and I went to the school of hardknocks of REI untill I was about 42 and I still have a long way to go. You are at the right place to learn.
God Bless

If you are seriously interested in learning Dean's program you must learn to make the time to read and re-read the material on a daily basis, as close to the same time, each day.. Set aside a hour or two, or whatever you can spare on a daily basis. After awhile, you will automatically study the material at the same time that you initally started this daily regiment, without much thought or provacation. Give it a try. You will be amazed that this really works!!!
Good Luck!!!
Find a FSBO
Most realtors aren't going to deal with you or take you serious or entertain your offer of assigning with a house they have listed, so your best bet is to find your own.
You live in the boroughs; you don't need a car, just time. If you live in BK or Harlem, have a pen and a pad, walk up and down a certain sector of blocks and look for signs that say 'For Sale By Owner' or 'For Rent'.
Glad to hear you actually do want it, but don't force it, yet don't procrastinate either. Go into smart and have a plan. Hold off on the LLC's and websites and etc until you get a feel of things.
Hope it helps
I'm a firm believer in what's meant to be will be. If you have a burning desire inside to read Deans books and start investing, then you WILL find the time to read the books. From my personal experience, when I received Deans books, I took them everywhere with me. I had to literally shut my friends and family out of my life for a while. I had to create and manage 'my time'. I'm also the type of person that would fall asleep almost every night at 9:00pm with my kids. Now, I stay up until 12-1:00am reading the books, reading the forum, looking for houses etc...It's amazing to see what you're capable of doing when you push yourself. Self discipline is never an easy task!
If you want it, go get it! You have all the support you need here, but it's entirely up to you to make it happen.
Much success!
