I've been in the same boat so I know what your talking about. Life has a way of creeping up on you and pulling down your pants in public. LOL (inside joke for me )
Let me help you with some motivation here:
I have been desperately trying to get wholesale deal #1 done, bird dog deal #2 done or buy and hold #1 done and none of them seemed to be down the road. With just a little bit of extra work on my part this past week, BD #2 & #3 are within reach which will enable me to do so much more towards my RE career.
Bottom line, ask yourself this: How much do I really want this? If you want it bad enough, you will do what it takes. If you do what it takes, it WILL get done. The road of success is filled with people who "Got it done!"
See you at the top

Schedule at least an hour every day for your rei with no distractions. You can use the rest of the day to sort out your life, but if you tell yourself that only one hour is all you're putting aside, and during this hour you do nothing else but rei, it will make a huge difference; you will notice that the hour will go by so quickly that you will want to spend more and more time doing your rei, and less and less time doing anything else...but the key is to start doing it, with no compromises....

Thanks for the support guys I do want it bad. I had so much stress on my plate I just shut down for a spell i needed my brain to shut down for a bit. to be honest I think what is bumming me out the moist is the lost time and a bunch more wholesalers popped up in my area and the market is picking up i feel like i missed the boat but I know there is still money to be made. I knew wholesalers making money at the height of the market so I know there is still money to be made. I wrote up a nice daily plan of action and if I followed it my worried would be gone I just cant figure out why I have any hesitation is is fear if so I dont know why? is is lazyness maybe but when my rental property needs totally overhauled i'm willing to wake up everyday and bust my ass doing concrete work stairs etc with no issue? i just cant put my finger on it just cant but thanks for the support I'm trying to get back. I do need to learn to go about life with a headache and do it anyway like dean said its just hard pushing myself to think that way
And push through the fear!

It's great that you saw and took the time to take of yourself with your situation.
BUT YOU DON'T HAVE CRAWL ANYWHERE....YOU WERE TAKING CARE OF YOU. That's probably the best thing you could have done for yourself.....Now, it's onto the rest of the story.....pick up where u left off !!
An hour a day....that would be great. Remember your "WHY"?....and go from there...
Good luck, ERSIE
I still cannot get out of this slump I turn my computer on and I'm like all froze up. I don't know how to get back to were i was. I'm second guessing my self on every move I don't feel comfortable running comps. I'm so mad at my self but I cant beat the slump i'm in now. I was handling personal issues but i'm ready to get back and cant get there I don't feel comfortable talking to people again its like I reverted. I'm sick of this feeling week after week i'm staring at my computer. I need to get going
Make offers, right or wrong. At least 2 a day. Soon you will be more comfortable with your comps. No offers = ZERO chance of making money.
Get out and drive your areas, call every for rent, fsbo sign you see, go to every estate sale and garage sale sign you see. Ask if the house is for sale. If it is listed, call the agent. WE like negotiating estate sales way more than REOs. Go to REI meetings. Get out and get moving around. That should help you re gain motivation. Sometimes sitting behind your computer is the worst thing you can do.

I've been where you are also and through it all I never gave up. You're not giving up either. You did what you had to do to get where you are. So let this be the first day of the rest of your REI life and forget about yesterday. Don't look back. Keep your eyes on your goal! You can do it!!
