Thank you, I am new but I have learned and been inspired by the posts in here

You are truly an inspiration!

Many of you do not realize it but I am inspired by your fire for REI. Sometimes as you go along and go through the motions of REI you lose the fire you once had in the beginning when you first started. That FIRE is the very thing that keeps us going and when I read about the new success stories and feel their excitement of that first check that FIRE is reignited!

So in a way we all inspire each other

I haven't been on here much lately...but I am doing stuff. For some reason my internet provider can't explain....it's not working right. I joined the academy a couple a months ago ....and most of the time, I can't get on it. They're trying to fix the problem. In the meantime...I was afraid I would fall behind in my own schedule with what I'm trying to accomplish with it. So, I ordered Dean's book, 30 days.... to fill in the gaps.

I write out every night my 10 things I want( which, I was doing long before I
was ever on this site). I know my "WHY".

I've called a lot of realtor offices.....got 2 responses (which they both were very quick to e-mail me back) out of about 50...and I'm not totally done---I still want to call more.

Working on getting my team together.

I've been calling different investment firms to introduce myself (and I will be sending them a post card)....which has gone over very well...didn't think it would, but it has. I thought they wouldn't want to be bothered ---then, after speaking with them, I thought, this is too easy...Then it hit me, even though I'm fairly new....I'm someone else to market to for them as well.

I had one contract that didn't do anything- but I DON'T CONSIDER THAT BAD, I learned a few things I didn't already know.

Monday, I will being signing a new contract -- I'm ready for it.
Everything is in place for it. Can't wait !! I'm learning more about the numbers....and that to me...is when I will really feel great.

Your doing GREAT! I made many mistakes along the way and have had some properties under contracts that did not sell as well. But like you I learned from my mistakes and got better at this game

Knowledge is power! Knowledge is also an enemy of fear... the more you learn the more courage you get, the more courage you get the less fear you will have. So keep learning and applying your knowledge.

Carol I know exactly what you mean when you mentioned about losing the "fire"..... I think I lost it for a few weeks.... But i NEED TO START IT!! I know NOTHIN WILL CHANGE if i don't change my self and what I do! Thanks for giving me that push that got my motivation up once more!!(:

It is funny how when we first start in REI we are so excited that we have found something that will change our lives. We get so motivated that we want to implement EVERY strategy and start running towards the profit. Then after a while that fire dwindles and we begin to get comfortable making it happen. We begin to do deals and make money and as bills get paid and debt gets paid off we somehow lose that excitement of REI. But trust me we need to keep that fire burning if we want to be more than debt free, more than just paying bills, if we want to be real estate millionaires!

The thing that keeps my fire burning is reading a post every time someone does their first deal. The excitement screams from the post and it brings me back to my beginning and I get excited all over again.

As humans we get complacent when we get comfortable. Once we start making money and pay off all that stressful debt we get comfortable. You need to keep stepping out of your comfort zone if you want to make it to the top!

from the very first time when I came on this site, I was sooooo inspired by you, and today, I am still blown away by your tenacity and determination, but mostly by your kindness that you share with everyone here!

You are so right about how our lives will never be the same if we apply DG's strategies and take action! Dean has been my foundation to great things that I never imagined I would do in my life! What a feeling!!! And the incredible likeminded people that I have met here?! All I can say is that I am so grateful forevermore!!

The energy of the Edge Event still resonates within me... and I am looking forward to meeting you at the next one!
