One of the properties I'm putting an offer in on has a "Gas easement". I'm assuming this is unpaid gas bills?
How do I check to see how much its for ? And should I see if the Seller will pay them ?? How should I work this into the P&S ?

A gas easement would normally mean there is a recorded easement on the property where gas lines are or can be located. Ask the seller for a survey which if current should show where the easement is and how much of the property it takes in. You would also find mention of this in a title committment. This could have a large impact on the value of the property so I would find out as much as possible before offering on this property. Hope this helps and best of luck.

so appahrently its only to allow the gas man to walk on the property to check the meter...
no biggie?

it might be a bit more than just allowing the gas man to read the meter. it's also called "right of way". call your city/county for more information and/or read the contract that has that information in it.
