Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #152 - Grandma's Secret Success Recipe

There's a saying, "what comes around, goes around." It is often brought up when we experience some sort of slight in our life.

This week, Dean shares a different perspective on this old adage that will show you how to make a HUGE difference in your life - right now. And it comes not from some business or success guru...but straight from Dean's grandmother. Don't miss this one...

love the message

willowme's picture

When my kids were young I loved reading to them. But many of the books were missing the types of messages I felt they should hear. So I wrote my own story. It's about a small bear who it's told that she can be anything if she tries. Just last week I began working with an illustrator. Whoop Whoop!

Positive reinforcement is worth more than gold from the right person at the right time.

My husband told me how proud of me he was because I didn't give up and kept asking until I finally got a realtor to send me the mls listings of the cash solds for the last 90 days for my target area. I added 48 cash buyers to my list over the weekend!

Absolutely great message Dean!

Your Grandma is an angel

shinton's picture

As she looks down upon you, Dean, can you imagine what she is thinking? I can, because from one grandma to another, there is no greater honor than to have your grndchildren heed what you taught them - all out of love. There is so much negativity in today's world, we need to share more about all the good things and good people in the world. Encouragement like this even affects our busy lives of real estate, because it's nuggets of reminders like this that keep us moving forward. Good luck on your run - run for Grandma!

Encouragement

I love your Grandma's advice to you & thank you for sharing it will all of us. She was certainly wise...To be able to encourage someone else & say thank you is what every human being wants...they want to be appreciated & loved

A Simple thank you

My grannys on both sides are gone, but you are right there are those special moments when you remember what they have said to you and even that special look that's given. I miss them both.

However telling some one else something to make their day is also special to the other person and yourself. We all need a pat on the back once in a while if not often. I have found that a "thank you" after someone does something for you is very uplifting to the person receiving it. One gentleman told me that he hadn't heard a thank you in ages. People forget to say thank you, he said. He said that it means so much although it isn't necessary to say thank you after a service, someone helping, or opening the door for you. Thank you is very much appreciated by everyone, I encountered.

U r the man

thank you for you time

Grandparents <3

jcwp's picture

My parents have been like second parents to my kids. They have helped us raise them because they lived close by, and they babysat them while John and I both worked full time. When people tell me I have great kids I always tell them that my parents deserve part of the credit. They have enriched my kids lives and taught them so much through their wisdom and Love. They are now 18 and 24. They appreciate my parents and still like to hang out at their house! SO grateful for great parents!! I can't wait to pay this one forward when I get grandkids <3

Great advice Dean, thanks. I am one of those that try to help others all the time but I have a hard time expressing appreciation for others. I think it is very important for people to feel appreciated. I believe those in my life already know how much I appreciate them so I think that I don't need to express it but I really do. After all these years of holding it back just the thought of it is hard. But I understand what you're saying and will try to make it a part of my life. Thanks.

good wisdom

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I had a wonderful grandma too; I took care of her for the last 5 1/2 years of her life and she was by far the most positive person in my life; along with my father. I miss her so much! When she passed 2 years ago it was like losing the last uplifting person in my world. (I'd already lost my dad 10 years before her passing and my mom also passes 6 years prior to her as well).

So, thank you for the message and talking about your grandma again because I know she helped shape who you are and we are ALL grateful for her for shaping you into who you are today! Laughing out loud We always remember the most positive people in our lives, and its a great reminder to keep being a light in other's lives.

You know I appreciate you so much and love how you are such a great motivator. You are the positive person I have in my life, and I thank you so much! Smiling I keep brushing my mistakes and failures off and can always listen to one of your videos or come here to your site and the DG family to get that positive encouragement I'm lacking in my life. Thanks to you and the DG family! Smiling

Thanks for being YOU, Dean Graziozi. Thank your mom, dad, granny, her mom, her dad.... well you get the message.

Keep doing what you're doing. Walk the walk and talkin the talk. We all appreciate the values, integrity, honor, and commitment Granny instilled in you and what you are sharing with us.

P.S. This may well be the last post from Homeless_in_MD. He doesn't feel well and would like to say he appreciates everything you have said and done. Be on the lookout for Valiant. He's out to continue in homeless's footsteps and do outrageous deals to make you proud.

The power of a simple thank you.

Great advice Dean!

27 mins for 5k. That's really fast. About 5 min and 25seconds. (Disqualifying yourself is a good persuasive technique) =P

"pink donation"

Bjholly's picture

Oh my gosh Dean!! You don't know about the "pink donation" scam????? If you get some time, ask Kevin........You know.....Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About........Your ad for the book ACTUALLY says "support breast cancer"??????????!At least that's what it says on my computer!

Great Reminder Dean

trivoli26's picture

Great job Dean reminding us to be thankful and positive through out each day. The Law of Attraction says we must do these things, in order to succeed.
You must be forgiving, thankful and positive each day. You must also love at least 51% of the time. Per the Secret, The Power by Rhonda Barnes, Laws of Attraction, positive versus negative. Weblink for more info.

Family & Friends are great!

restore2007's picture

We just made a trip to Texas over the weeekend as my Father-in-law was in serious condition we found out Thursday. Fortunately everything turned out fine and he should be coming home Tommorrow but when something sudden comes up unexpectedly like that it makes you think "are you enjoying loved ones now while you can??"
Your message is right on Dean, get that mindset which will not only make you a success in business but will leave a lasting legacy among family & friends.

God Bless! Jeff & Ronda

Thanks Dean:)

Sounds like something my grandmother would have said too. I lost her last year and miss her kind words and wisdom every day.
It's the true meaning of "pay it forward".
Best wishes to all.

Others

skytrolly's picture

It's sometimes takes a little more effort when you are strugling to reflect on the positive to get you going. What is basic and thanks for the reminder, Think of others. I truly believe that when you send out a positive thanks, or what can I do for you, you chase away alot of the negative because you are consentrating on someone else.. even if just a couple of times a day.
Have a good week, and thanks

Amen
