First steps

It's been two weeks today since I registered at the website and three weeks since my husband and I went to a free seminar where I learned about the program for myself for the first time. My husband has been following Dean for a while and already had two of his books along side some other material. Real estate has always interested me but seemed too complicated at the same time. I don't know what happened but I can't get my mind off it any more. I am simultaneously reading two of dean's books (one in hard copy and the other one in audio format) I have been studying our local market with the understanding I have gained from the books so far and today we physically looked at the first two properties we might take into consideration. We also officially met with our Real Estate Broker for the first time today. We have known this lady for 15+ years and we knew that she was a Realtor and actually looked at some property with her some years back when we first thought about investing into real estate but fear and the opinion of others sadly held us back from following through. When we talked with her today and asked her the questions recommended in Dean's book we were VERY pleasantly surprised to find out that she is quite experienced working with investors and encourages to put in low offers as well as the 25:1 strategy. Now we can't wait to really get started working with her and get those deals done!
