We moved to the Mid-West a couple of years ago because Hawaii was getting so expensive. All was so-so until I lost my job. Not so good anymore.
I pray Dean's system will get my family some much needed financial stability.

Do this...sit down and come up with a BIG dream. Something you thought about maybe when you were young and have since given up on. Get to know this dream, get pictures of it, go see it if you can. Draw it, write about it, ingrain it in your mind. Then, don't take your eye off of it till you get it, the obstacles will disappear!

Oh I have my dream. Plain and simple, just to go home. I'm stuck in the mid-west. My home is Hawaii. My family is there, my kids are there. Only my husband and myself are here (and the dogs). I miss the ocean, the year round sun, my friends. I don't know anybody here. It's very lonely.
At least with real estate, I have a reason to leave the house. I'm already learning so much with Dean's books. Even how to lease option my own house when we move.

It's so good to know that we have investors from Hawaii here. I love Kauai and most of my family on my mom's side still live there. My mom and siblings live on Oahu. I do miss home and have been away since 1989 and have been to Oahu a few times to see my family. I live in San Antonio, TX.

No, I'm not a tour guide. haha. I'm originally from Oahu, moved to Maui in '74 then went to Anchorage for a year and a half. Followed by ten years on tour with a Band in the Deep South,. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida.
Moved to Maui in '86 after getting tired of the fast pace of Oahu.
Saw your post on Aunty Ku'u's guest book and thought I'd send you an Aloha as well. Just closed on a deal for 5 acres in Colorado So. Central also known as the Four Corners borders three other states New Mexico and I forgot the other two. But, I'll know better when I get there. Looking for kit homes, Log Cabin of course, that my Children and I can put up. Thirty days tops. Then go and do it again and again. Most amount of ROI return on investment. 5 acres, owner financing 150.00 down 150.00 per mo. Electric and county maintained road. Glad to have found another Islander here.
