Daily Habits

Does anyone have tips on keeping yourself accountable on a daily basis. As an example, to do lists, online calendars, or other ways to make sure you're making daily progress

Daily Journal

I wanted to start a journal of my progress to possibly inspire others or to compare notes (as it were). I've been following the launch of Dean's insider elite program. What an incredible resource. Unfortunately I can't participate in that but I have the 30 day blueprint book and am in the process of building a buyers list. If anyone else is doing the 30 day blueprint and are at a similar stage as me I would love to hear from them.

Daily Journal

I did some poking around on Linkedin today and tried to figure out the best way to proceed to find buyers. It was a little overwhelming. I felt like a fraud and wasn't sure how to proceed. I think I'll stick with Dean's 30 day blueprint. It's simple and to the point.

Buyers List

I"m really working on building my buyer's list. I'm wondering what is a good number of buyers to start with on my list. I feel like I shouldn't start looking for deals until I have a bunch of names on my buyer's list. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks

Networking in Portland, Or.

Hi,

I'm hoping to find some other DG'ers in the Portland area. I have yet to do my first deal and I think it would be beneficial to have someone to keep me accountable and vice versa. Please send me a PM if you're interested. Thanks

Getting started

Anthony Davis's picture

Hey,
Everyone has real estate interests here, and everyone could have different starting points.
Think of the different strategies as a potential starting place based on your personal interests and life situation, not as a bountiful of information. If you have no money, bad/slow/no credit, then study real estate wholesaling! Seek out vacant homes in your area; find owner(s) through property tax records or other means.
If you have money/credit-lines-cards/family-friend(s) try leasing to own with contracts! Be sure to study Greg Murphy's story at www.deansmedia.com. You can possibly look him up here on this site for information contributed by him. Focus on one method at a time OR only on the method you like. This is totally up to you! This is all for now! Take Action!

Time to get serious

Hi Gang,

I haven't posted for quite awhile but I'm committed to being more consistent. I'm one of those people who works tons of hours at his job and am wondering how to begin. I have a bad habit of thinking I have to have all my ducks in a row before I get started. I guess the thing to do is pick a realtor, start building a buyers list and start learning from the mistakes that I'm going to make.

Business Phone

I am a delivery driver and I drive around in a noisy truck all day which makes me basically unreachable by phone. Does anyone have advice on the use of voice mail, recorded messages, or other options that I can use for people to contact me in my Real Estate activities as I get my business started. Thanks
